“If my baby turns out half as cool as my little dog, then we’re set!” the Extra host tells Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “I love my dog!”
Lopez, who met his soon-to-be baby mama Courtney Mazza in 2008 in A Chorus Line on Broadway, couldn’t be more excited for her to pop out their first child.
“I am so excited dude, I’m fired up! I’m like a little kid waiting for Christmas!” he tells Seacrest.
And so is his family!
“This is really late for me. In Mexican years I should have three to four kids right now!” he jokes. “My family was like ‘About time!’ when I told them!”
With all the chicks he’s hooked up with and cheated on, you’d think he’d already have a bunch of little A.C. Slaters running around!
Mario Lopez is getting serious with girlfriend Courtney Mazza! So serious that he’s knocked her up!
The former Saved By the Bell star couldn’t be happier about the news!
“Courtney and I couldn’t be more excited,” he said in a statement on Extra Wednesday. “I’ve waited my whole life to be a dad — this is a true blessing. I am looking forward to sharing this experience with my family and my family at Extra.”
Mazza is due to give birth this fall!
Just what we need… another A.C. Slater running around! We just hope Mario doesn’t cheat on this one like he did the Doritos girl!

At NYC hotspot, Marquee, Mario Lopez will be hosting a soiree and you could rub elbows with the stud and his guests for a mere $165 a ticket.

The paparazzi in L.A. had their hands full last night with plenty of celeb sightings such as Rihanna, Heidi Montag with Spencer Pratt, Kim Kardashian, “Lo” Bosworth with Lauren Conrad, Mario Lopez, Marcia Cross, Alexis Arquette, Jonah Hill and Stacy Keibler.
Extra correspondent Mario Lopez has signed on to appear in the Broadway hit, A Chorus Line.
“I had been approached to do Broadway before. They asked me for The Producers and Chicago but the crazy thing is I can’t really sing… That’s the irony of it. I love to sing, but not comfortable enough to do it on Broadway,” Lopez told Extra. He went on to joke, “I can do it in Koreatown at the karaoke bars…I sound like Elvis there.”
Turns out Lopez’s character is one of the few in the musical that doesn’t have to sing. “Everyone sings and dances except for the character I play, Zach….He doesn’t necessarily have to sing. I said, ‘Alright, that’s my guy!’”
Funny that his character’s name is Zach, just like the lead character in his old TV show Saved By The Bell. Maybe Lopez has been secretly jealous all these years of Zach and now it’s finally his turn to be Zach. LOL!
Mario Lopez brought some Valentine’s Day cheer to the UCLA Medical Center yesterday. Lopez gave out cupcakes and MaggieMoo dolls to the children in the hospital and is pictured above visiting with patient Amanda Mendez.
