Celebrities always do it up big time for New Year’s Eve and here’s the scoop on where some of them will be ringing in 2009 tonight.

New York City and it’s famous ball drop will play host to many famous names including exes Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift. The Big Apple will also be party headquarters for former President and first lady Bill and Hillary Clinton as well as Lionel Rtchie.

At NYC hotspot, Marquee, Mario Lopez will be hosting a soiree and you could rub elbows with the stud and his guests for a mere $165 a ticket.

Heading to the West coast for the new year? Try these hotspots to mingle with your favorite celebs.

Travis Barker and D.J. AM, who survived a fiery plane crash earlier this year, will ring in new beginnings with their performance at the Wilshire Theatre.

Also in L.A. Eva Longoria Parker will lay low at her restaurant, Beso, while Robin Thicke will perform at hotspot Area.

The parties don’t stop in between coasts either, as plenty of stars will ring in the new year in Miami and Las Vegas as well. Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan we’ll be at Mansion tonight for Sam’s spinning gig and Kid Rock will be rocking out at the Palms Playboy Club in Vegas baby.

Finally, Vince Vaughn will be partying it up in Chi-Town at a private party and we hear that celebs such as John Cusack and Chris Chelios will also be ringing in New Year’s in the Windy City!

Get excited Desperate Housewives fans — the drama-filled suburban soup isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!

Show creator Marc Cherry had been planning to end the show after a seventh-season finale in May of 2011, but Cherry just revealed that he wants to do two additional seasons of the show.

“Marc was cutting a cake when he announced it,” a DH veteran told E! News. “He couldn’t have been happier—this show isn’t going anywhere.”

I wonder what twists Marc has up his sleeve. He’s already fast-forwarded the lives of the characters five years. Can’t wait to see what he’s gonna write next!

Tons of Hollywood A-listers walked the red carpet last night for the Los Angeles premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; however, as usual Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stole the show!

The lovebirds simply glowed on the red carpet and looked more in love than ever!

Eva rolls with some big time names!

Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria is putting pregnancy rumors to rest by telling reporters she’s just “fat”!

In an interview with Le Grand Journal with hubby Tony Parker Longoria exclaimed: “I’m just fat.”

In recent pictures Longoria has been sporting what could be interpreted as early signs of a baby bump, but producers for the show say it’s just for her character on the hit drama.

“Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children,” show creator Marc Cherry told Usmagazine.com.

Although Eva has admitted to packing on a few extra pounds, she has had a little help.

“I have butt pads, I have thigh pads, I have stomach pads!” she admitted to Us.

What a change for Hollywood, someone needing to gain weight for a roll instead of starving herself!

Eva Longoria has been the center of pregnancy rumors all summer, but she insists she’s not.

This is her reasoning: “I’m not pregnant. I’m just fat. I gained 5lb over the summer so instead of a size zero, I’m a size one.”

So…a size ONE is FAT? Wow, the rest of America is grossly obese then in their size eights!

Eva Longoria isn’t pregnant…yet! But her Desperate Housewives producer Marc Cherry assures us that she’s trying.

“Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with [husband] Tony Parker,” Cherry told Us Weekly.

“After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call,” he said.

And then obviously after he finds out he’s gonna run to the tabloids and let the world know? Ha!

Eva Longoria told Latina magazine, “I’m a 1950s housewife. I love baking. I love sewing. Being home with Tony. My mother was like that. Always took care of her husband. I always admired and wanted to do that.”

Excellent. She’ll be barefoot and pregnant slaving away in the kitchen in no time!
