Hayden Panettiere Opens Up About Her Dad’s Arrest!

Hayden Panettiere is finally speaking out out about her father’s 2008 arrest for felony domestic violence against her mother.
Alan Panettiere faced misdemeanor battery charges back in September 2008 after allegedly hitting wife Lesley, leaving her face visibly bruised. After a thorough investigation, police said the incident, which Alan claimed to be a “a big misunderstanding,” involved alcohol.
Classy. Blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol.
For the first time ever, Hayden opens up in the July issue of Seventeen magazine admitting that she struggled greatly over her dad’s highly publicized arrest.
“I don’t know that I dealt with it any specific way,” the Heroes star said. “I mean, it’s hard enough going through it personally within your family, let alone when the entire world knows about it.”
Hayden claims she’s very protective over her family and hates the picture the media has created of her father.
“It put my dad in this light that is so not him. You know your mind goes to: ‘He abuses, he beats his wife.’ For my dad to have that reputation now — which is so not who he is — kills me.”
Well, maybe her dad should’ve thought twice about hitting a woman.
The Heroes star reported to the L.A. Police Department on Monday that her home had been robbed, according to Usmagazine.com.
“The incident occurred between April 10 and 15 while she was out of town,” Public Information Officer April Harding told Us Weekly.
Although the police couldn’t confirm the details surrounding the burglarized attack, the robbers made off with $15,000 worth of jewelry, according to TMZ.com.
Something’s a bit fishy though! The reports show no signs of forced entry, so it sounds like a friend or very close acquaintance or RELATIVE stole the goods! Ahem, maybe your crazy wife-beating father!
Heroes star, Hayden Panettiere, lost her cool with reporters over the weekend in Hawaii.
The tween star was testy when she first stepped on the red carpet at a fundraiser benefiting the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Foundation Sunday in Honolulu.
“Back up!” she yelled at photographers.
After posing for photos, a female television reporter touched her shoulder and asked, “May we talk with you, Hayden?”
The actress jerked her head around and screamed, “Don’t you ever touch me!”
She then asked a red carpet handler, “Oh, am I supposed to do interviews?”
Approaching various media outlets, she snapped again: “You all make my life miserable!” She then refused to answer any questions.
Wow! Either someone peed in her Cheerios or she’s just taking after her father and his abusive personality.
Pull it together Hayden, you look like a crazy person!
Heroes costars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have broken up!
“It was a lifestyle conflict,” a source exclusively told Usmagazine.com. “They were in very different places.”
The split occurred last week, and the former lovers remain on good terms.
“They are still on friendly terms,” the source said. “There are no hard feelings.”
The split is partially due to the costars 12-year age gap. Panettiere, 19, likes to go out in the young Hollywood circles; meanwhile, Ventimiglia, 31, would rather focus on work with his production company.
Hayden Panettiere, the underage Heroes star, may be able to chill in 21 and over nightclubs in L.A. but it’s not flying in the Big Apple.
Panettiere, accompanied by six girlfriends, entered the NV Lounge in Suffern, N.Y. at roughly 9:15 p.m. via the employee entrance and lasted about 10 minutes before security spotted and carded her according to E!online.
“At that time we asked her and her friends to leave,” NV Lounge owner John Reznick tells E! News, adding that the actress cooperated by giving her license to an employee.
In order for 19-year-old Panettiere to get her license back she had to call and cooperate with local police.
“When my officers arrived on the scene we questioned Panettiere,” Det. Craig Long said. “I asked her if she tried to buy alcohol and she denied it. Panettiere told me that someone opened the side door of the nightclub so she could go inside and say hello to friends, not buy drinks.”
Yeah right! We’re sure if Hayden hadn’t gotten busted she would have been caught red handed pounding back the booze.

According to Star magazine, 19-year-old Hayden is moving out of her parents’ house and has purchased a $2.6 million home in West Hollywood.
“He isn’t happy,” a friend of hers said of Milo because he was hoping the two would get a house together!
Milo is 31 years-old and has marriage on his mind but according to her friend that freaks her out. “She’s not even old enough to have a drink, so she’s not even thinking about settling down.”
If the recent arrest of Hayden Panettiere’s father, Alan, is bringing her down, it sure isn’t showing! Panettiere looked red hot yesterday as she left MTV’s TRL studios in New York City!
