Nicholas Sparks knows love, so why are the stars of his two upcoming flicks showing nothing but hate?!
Amanda Seyfried, the star of Dear John joked that Miley Cyrus is lucky her Sparks-inspired flick, The Last Song, comes out two months later.
“If The Last Song was coming out the same weekend as Dear John, we’d have to collaborate on some sort of sabotage mission,” Amanda told MTV.
“I’d burn it,” her costar Channing Tatum added. “I’d sabotage it somehow.”
Nevertheless, Channing admits that The Last Song is “not any more competition than all the rest” of Sparks’ movies, which he says “are very, very separate from each other,” minus the fact that they all revolve around love.
But regardless, Miley’s movie doesn’t hit theaters till March 31.
“We’re not competing for the same weekend,” Channing says.
So what is it that makes Dear John so special?
“Not to be cheesy or melodramatic [but] everyone wants to feel loved and that their love is special,” Channing says. “And when they read about these once-in-a-lifetime sort of relationships and loves, it’s a great place to go away and escape.”
Yea we want the love, but really, we’re just in it for the topless Tatum. What a hunk!

Teen star Miley Cyrus is looking to shy away from pop music and become a bit more edgy. In other words, she’s ready to start sluttin’ it up!
The Hannah Montana star told Britsh morning show GMTV that she is currently at work on “my last pop record.” After that, she says, “I kinda want this to be my last record for a little while and … take a break.”
She continues by explaining how she hopes to explore other musical styles and create “something edgier.”
“In a few years, as I grow up, so will my fans,” Cyrus says. “I’ll be able to have more of the sound of music that I’m into.”
This comes to no surprise as Miley has clearly been acting out outlining her future plans… from talking smack about Twilight to grinding on poles like a cheap-ass stripper!
A little birdy also told us that Miley has plans to remake Poison frontman Bret Michael’s 80s rock balled, Every Rose Has Its Thorn. We think she’d have better luck auditioning for the next season of Rock of Love!
Even though it’s hardly legal, 17-year-old Miley Cyrus got a tattoo!
Thursday afternoon, Miley frolicked poolside with friends at Fountainbleau Resort in Miami Beach reports Usmagazine.com. Her itsy-bitsy bikini was just small enough to reveal the new ink below her left breast. In cursive writing, the tat reads “Just Breathe.”
Apparently Billy-Ray was okay with this, because in the U.S., a child under the age of 18 must have parental permission to get inked up!
This is not surprising considering Miley’s older brother Trace recently noted that he and father, Billy Ray, have matching tattoos.
Let’s just hope Miley doesn’t get carried away like her older brother and end up with goofy tattoos everywhere! Not a very good look…

The tour bus carrying the pop star’s production crew overturned in Virgina on Friday morning leaving the driver dead and nine others suffering minor injuries.
There were 14 passengers on board the bus, Cyrus not one of them, the Associated Press reports. She’s safe and sound and still not heading out to see New Moon!
The bus apparently drifted off the road due to the overnight rains. Hmm, or maybe there was a little too much partying in the U.S.A. after the show?

The pop star’s friend and co-star Cody Linley explained to KTLA.com that Cyrus recently ran off the stage during her Sept. 29 concert in Salt Lake City, Utah stating, “She just got really sick and she had to run off stage because things were just, like, on her heart too heavy.”
Things were on her heart too heavy? She must’ve been struggling on whether or not to delete her Twitter page!
“The next day she told me she had the swine flu,” Linley continued.
We’re not really sure where Cody came up with this story because Miley did not and has not contracted the swine-flu, her rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com.
