I’ve met many stars in my several years of covering celebrities and very few superstars. I dedicated my whole RedEye column today to Johnny Depp who I define as a true superstar.

I reported last week that Depp took the time to meet with tens of thousands of fans after a long day of shooting his film Public Enemies in Crown Point, Indiana.

Bill Murray rolled into the Windy City this weekend for the Heckler’s “100th Annual Next Year Day” party at the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville.

It’s been a sad 100 years since our beloved Cubs last won the World Series. However, in true Chicago fan fashion, we manage to stay optimistic at the end of each season by saying, “There’s always next year.”

The bash had fun and games like “Bad Harry Caray Impressions” and “Pin The Mullet On The Sox Fan”.

Murray is a long-time Cubs fan and joined in the festivities by grabbing the microphone and belting out a few tunes such as Honkey Tonk Woman and Hang On Sloopy.

Since Lindsay Lohan broke up with her rehab boyfriend she’s been spending a lot of time with an old flame. A female flame that is.

Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson have had a rumored love affair for quite some time and now Star magazine is reporting that Lindsay may be taking advantage of Ronson.

Ronson picks up the tab a lot during their dinner rendezvous and according to Star Lohan, “Chooses her dinner dates depending on whether the other person will pay for the meal.”

Seems Samantha has a soft spot for high-maintenance Hollywood hotties!

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were held on Saturday night in Westwood, Calif. and in typical Nick fashion there were lots of laughs and plenty of slime being splashed around.

Despite rumors that Britney Spears would be making a showing the starlet was nowhere to be found. However there was still plenty of star power present with Janet Jackson, Orlando Bloom, Will Smith, Jessica Alba, The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus just to name a few of the famous faces.

Drew Lachey was approached by some bold paparazzi over the weekend in Los Angeles who downright asked him (while it looks like his wife Lea is by his side) if he had an affair with his Dancing With the Stars partner Cheryl Burke.

We recently reported that Burke’s then boyfriend, Matthew Lawrence, walked in on them doing more than the tango!

Lachey smirked and remained mum when the paparazzo asked him if he had an affair with Burke. So another pap chimed in and blatantly asked:

“Did Matthew Lawrence walk in on the two of you practicing dance moves?”

Star magazine reported that they weren’t discrete about their affair at all. We’re pretty sure the above video supports that statement! LOL!

Check out Jennifer Lopez’s post-birth, of TWINS mind you, body! She’s looking damn good after giving a birth to two beautiful babies last month.

Lopez was photographed out and about in New York City over the weekend.

   

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis gave his first exclusive interview to Extra since being released from the slammer earlier this month and told them Ashley Dupre is, “the quintessential Girls Gone Wild - she is the girl gone wild!”

With plenty of archived Girls Gone Wild footage of Dupre, Francis said, “She lived on the bus for a week. It’s like finding a winning lottery ticket in the cushions of your couch!”

Audrina Patridge got a massive new tattoo on her forearm yesterday at the Blackwave Tattoo Parlor in Los Angeles, and according to Star magazine it translates into “pork oil fried rice.”

I smell a segment for Ashton Kutcher’s new show Pop Fiction, or at least I hope so.

I love Chinese food just as much as the next person but tattooing your favorite dish on your arm is a little excessive!

The Boots Girls were on hand as Rihanna swept into the Windy City on Wednesday for a benefit concert at Excalibur nightclub for The Believe Foundation, which helps children and their families who can’t afford medical attention they need.

Rihanna started out with a bang singing her first hit single, Pon De Replay.

Followed up by such hits at Unfaithful, Please Don’t Stop The Music and Umbrella.

Rihanna was full of energy, flipping her hair and stopping only to adjust the top of her dress that kept slipping down!

JC Chasez is sick of the online assumptions that he and Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford are having a secret BRO-mance.

“You know what, it’s laughable the first time,” Chasez told People magazine. “I think the tenth time, it gets annoying.”

Chasez and Crawford have sparked rumors by hanging out a lot recently but Chasez insists, “The fact of the matter is I’m a straight guy and I’m allowed to have [guy] friends.”

He’s getting awfully defensive for someone claiming to be so sure with his sexuality!

“I don’t care about [people's] assumptions or anything, but when people outright lie, that’s wrong,” Chasez continued. “So I think that part of the rumor is outright stupid.”
