Sugar, they’re going down! Looks like Chicago based group Fall Out Boy will be parting ways!

Known for their pop/emo/rock sound, Fall Out Boy was one of the first groups since Blink 182 to break into the pop scene. With nude picture scandals, a string of top ten hits and spawns including Gym Class Heroes and Tiga, the group has done it all.

When the FOB’s last CD hit shelves in 2009, many fans questioned if it would be the last they heard from the group, but the rumors were quickly put to rest by the boys themselves.

Fans shouldn’t have bought any of the bullshit that came out of their mouths because lead singer Patrick Stump has now confirmed an indefinite break.

“Whether we play again or not, I don’t know. If we do, it will be for the right reasons. If we don’t, it will also be for the right reasons,” Stump confessed in a interview with Spin.com.

Many fans blame Pete Wentz’s personal life overshadowing the group in the past few years, while others blame the Simpson curse! Wentz famously wed Ashlee Simpson and since then, fans say the group has been in a downfall.

Well whichever reason you believe, the group is dunzo for now. Damn Simpsons!

On Monday night, here in our very own windy city, Pete Wentz was spotted with a slew of friends (including DeMar Hamilton of the Plain White T’s) at Lakeview hotspot “The 44th Ward Dinner Party.”

The group was caught grubbing on grilled cheese while sipping champagne. Moreover, Pete opted for a more sophisticated look, replacing his hoodies, long hair and eyeliner for a buzz cut and tailored black sweater. To fit the fatherly mold, he and friends gushed over photos of his baby boy Bronx, who just celebrated his first birthday last week.

After dinner, Pete headed over to his club, Angels & Kings where he mingled with the packed crowd.

Happy birthday, to baby Bronx!

Today is the first birthday of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s son Bronx, and his parents are SO excited they took to Twitter to share the celebration!

“Happy Birthday to my precious angel on earth!!!” aunt Jessica Simpson Twittered this morning. “Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can’t believe it has been a year already.”

After welcoming her son last November, Ashlee has declared motherhood as “the most fantastic experience I have ever been through,” adding that her boy makes her “laugh and smile everyday.”

On Thursday, just one day prior to the little guy’s big day, Ashlee couldn’t contain her excitement!

“BX’s 1st bday tomorrow!” she wrote. “My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life.”

And Pete couldn’t help himself either.

He jumped on Twitter exclaiming, “Happy birthday bx. you dont have twitter and cant read this,” he joked. “Thanks to all my friends that recorded lullabies. cant believe its been a year.”

What a cute family! We’re glad to see that even after Ashlee’s Melrose drama she can still look back at her year and say it was the best!

Ashlee Simpson’s acting career recently came to a halt after she lost her role on Melrose Place. Could this be the reason why she, and hubby Pete Wentz have put their huge hillside Beverly Hills mansion on the market?

The couple has been dealing with some rocky marriage rumors lately, however, the duo’s decision to make the move was on behalf of their baby boy, Bronx, an insider tells Life & Style. It has nothing to do with job loss or a potential split.

“The house is built into the side of a giant hill and it doesn’t really have any yard. Now that Bronx is getting older they realized that really isn’t a child-friendly house,” the insider explains.

“They are going to sell this house and look for something that will be better suited to young children.”

Ashlee purchased the 5,896-square-foot hillside home in January 2007 for a reported $4.5 million. The Mediterranean-style structure consists of four floors, with four bedrooms and four baths, including a master bedroom with his-and-her baths. It has all the usual celeb amenities, including a media room, gym, gourmet kitchen, swimming pool and two-story guest house.

Maybe the Wentz fam will cut you a sweet deal on their old home if you wanna live the rockstar lifestlye!

Ashlee Simpson is knocking down a report on Perez Hilton that she got belligerently drunk at Chicago’s Angels & Kings Saturday night and picked a huge public fight with hubby Pete Wentz. Well, our sources say they did get into some kind of argument after they left, but the report out there is way off!

The report claims that Simpson berated Wentz at the one-year anniversary of his nightclub by yelling at him while he was spinning in the DJ booth and told him he was “horribe”.

Eyewitnesses told us that quite the opposite took place. We’re told that Wentz played a whole DJ set that he dedicated to Simpson while she danced in the VIP section.

Wentz sang the song Wonderwall to Ashlee and shouted “I love my girl” over the mike. And not only that, but when Pete wasn’t in the DJ booth we’re told the two were spotted being “super affectionate” all night by kissing and dancing with each other.

A rep for the nightclub told us this about their alleged fight:
“NO way, they were way too lovey to be fighting!”

However, one witness told us that Pete and Ashlee did get into an argument outside the nightclub as they were leaving.

Another source said that Pete, who said he was “over served” all night, was actually the wasted one. And their altercation outside was Ashlee just trying to get Pete, who could barely walk, into their SUV safely.

Today Ashlee fired back at Perez on Twitter saying this:

My husband is an amazing dj and was dedicating songs to me. We were just havin fun. Our love is amazing. Get ur own life. When all you do is make up untrue stories- look in the mirror. Do you even feel human?? Karma is a bitch.Your story is WAY off.”

You know what they say…there are three sides to every story. Your side, my side and then the truth! LOL!

Most rock stars put drugs, alcohol and groupies as their no. 1 priority, but not our home boy Pete Wentz!

Pete Wentz made a special visit to Chicago on Monday to attend a fundraiser for Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, who launched an exploratory committee in March to run for Barack Obama’s U.S. Senate seat in 2010.

Even though Wentz was sleep deprived from performing in Chicago on Saturday night and then jet-setted back to L.A. on Sunday to be with wife, Ashlee Simpson, and their baby, Bronx, Wentz returned Monday to show his support for Giannoulias at a cocktail reception at Wentz’s nightclub Angels & Kings.

“He seemed totally exhausted, but he was determined to return to Chicago to show is support for Alexi,” a source said. “He met Alexi a little while ago at an event and was more than happy to help him out.”

People at the fundraiser could’ve been fooled as to who was running for office. Wentz worked the room like a seasoned politician and took more photos than Giannoulias. He even pulled a classic campaign move by posing for photos with a baby!

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Pete run for office one day - he’s told me he wouldn’t rule it out!

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson recently laughed off reports that their union was in trouble; however, new reports of Wentz grinding with his dancers in Vegas over the weekend most likely don’t have Simpson laughing.

While Simpson has been staying at home keeping busy taking care of her four-month-old and even bragging about him on Twitter, Wentz was partying hard with about 50 people in his entourage following his sold-out show at the Palms Casino on April 5, according to Star magazine.

“Everybody was going absolutely crazy,” an eyewitness told the magazine. “People were even drunkenly playing makeshift Slip ‘n’ Slide with a mat and lubricant. And Pete was in great spirits. He was dancing and singing along to his band’s own songs, grinding up against the dancers.”

At one point he was “dancing on a pool table with the girls,” the partygoer adds.

Meanwhile, back at home Simpson posted a photo of their baby, Bronx, on Twitter.

“I present you my little man and his adorable cheeks!” she wrote.

Was it an innocent boys night out for Pete or was he acting out because things aren’t going well at home??? Only time will tell!

Pete Wentz is laughing about rumors that his marriage to Ashlee Simpson is on the rocks!

“I laugh at all of that stuff,” he told Hollyscoop.com at the Kids’ Choice Awards in L.A. “It’s like if someone wrote on the Internet that John McCain was our president right now. It’s just not true.”

The couple had spent a lot of time apart recently with Pete on tour with Fall Out Boy and Ashlee at home with their baby, Bronx. However, the couple looked happy and locked lips upon their reunion at the MTV Australia awards.

Additionally, Pete abruptly extinguished the rumors by declaring to the audience: “We haven’t seen each other in a while. We’re going to go and find some quiet time and fornicate somewhere.”

Pete Wentz was one of the many celebrities who attended Barack Obama’s inauguration today in Washington D.C., but he left wife Ashlee Simpson and their newborn son Bronx Mowgli at home in Los Angeles.

However, he plans on telling his son all about the experience one day.

“I think I’ll explain it to him many years from now, and maybe he’ll believe his dad was here, maybe not,” he told Usmagazine.com Monday at The Huffington Post Pre-Inaugural Ball.

Wentz reflected about his contribution to the new President by campaigning for him last year.

“When you’re at an event this large and when you’re in a city like this and you see the people who have done so much, you realize that you were kind of throwing pennies,” he said. “But to be honest, this campaign was proof that everyone contributed in small ways … [everything] really did count. Who would have ever guessed this a year ago?”

Wentz says he feels comfortable with the new Commander in Chief and believes he’ll be just fine.

“I think once you get him in the pilot’s chair, he’s going to be fine,” Wentz said.
