Although it seemed that the Scream series had come to a close years ago, it looks like Courtney Cox Arquette and hubby David Arquette are back on the set for round four!

The Cougar Town star says she’s excited about returning to the horror genre in Scream 4. “There are really only a few of us that survived,” says Cox.

Back in 1996 was when the first Scream movie came out, and when Cox and Arquette were first introduced.

The two will reprise their roles as news reporter Gale Weathers, and nerdy sherrif, Dwight “Dewey” Riley, reports Fox News. Neve Campbell will also be returning to the set as the infamous Sidney Prescott.

When asked about rumors that claimed Dewey and Gale would be killed off at the beginning of the film, Cox simply shrugged them off.

“They’re probably back living in Woodsboro,” Cox said referring to the small California town that was the setting of the first film. “I think that he’s probably still deputy, and I’ve had a lot of kids. I don’t know. I’m probably miserable, and then I’m sure a lot of murdering will happen.”

On Thursday night Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox Arquette enjoyed a girls night out!

The two went to dinner with Courteney’s husband David Arquette at L.A.’s Water Grill followed by a Fleetwood Mac concert at the Staples Center.

“They totally looked like they did back on Friends - two women having a girls night out,” an onlooker told X17online.com. “Other diners at the restaurant were definitely looking at the pair, but it didn’t seem to bother them. They were both in a great mood! They were even holding hands on the way out of the restaurant!”

It was obvious that the girls had a lot of catching up to do, because Jen’s been shooting her new movie The Baster in New York while Courteney remains in L.A. filming her ABC show Cougar Town.

It looks like reports claiming that the two have been feuding are bogus. These girls will probably be best friends forever, which Jen could probably use considering all of her other relationships have failed!

It looks like Courteney Cox may be hanging up her Team Aniston jersey since she had a night out on the town last night with Brad Pitt!!!

Cox and her hubby, David Arquette, were spotted hanging out with Jennifer Aniston’s ex-hubby last night at the Chris Cornell show at The Wiltern.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw Brad Pitt hanging out with Jen’s best friend,” an eyewitness tells The Boots Girls. “They were laughing and chatting each other up by the bar.”

Not only were they hanging out - they seemed like they were best friends having the time of their lives!

“They looked like they were having a great time and they seemed like buddy old pals,” a source tells us. “They seemed like they had been hanging together for years - there was no awkwardness between them.”

I wonder what Jen and Angie thinks of this - we know Jen can’t be happy with the situation!!!

Jennifer Aniston hung out with her BFF Courteney Cox on Christmas Eve and now they’re hanging out on New Year’s!

They were spotted at the airport in Los Cabos, Mexico the other day and so far there’s no sign of John Mayer!

Jennifer Aniston flashed a deer in headlights look last night at the Los Angeles premiere of Glamour Reel Moments as she held onto BF Courteney Cox for dear life.

Either she’s had a couple cocktails or she’s trying to catch her balance in the sky high stilettos she wore to the premiere. Unlucky in love Aniston is probably confused after reconnecting with ex-boyfriend John Mayer the other night in New York.

At least she has a good friend to lean on!

Most of Hollywood A-listers go to extremes to be beautiful, but not Courtney Cox.

In this month’s issue of Marie Claire, Cox confesses about her doctor’s suggestion that she use Botox.

“I went to this doctor once, and he was like, ‘Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.’ And I was miserable.”

She goes on to explain, “I mean, I’m an actor, I’ve got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can’t lift their eyebrows, that’s weird. It’s not that I haven’t tried Botox - but I hated it.”

Cox clearly isn’t out to impress anyone except her husband of nine years, David Arquette, who she says ,“Loves the aging process. He thinks it’s beautiful.”

What a lucky lady! Cox seems to have it all, without having to endure the pain. We’re sure most of Hollywood’s leading ladies are super jealous.

Fashion magazine, Elle, honored eight women in Hollywood last night at the Four Seasons for their contribution to the industry.

The women being honored at the 15th Annual event included Halle Berry, Sigourney Weaver, Nicole Kidman, Jane Fonda, Anne Hathaway, Salma Hayek, Isla Fisher and Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke.

“The honorees this year are remarkable. They have pushed boundaries both on screen and on behalf of all women in Hollywood,” Elle’s editor-in-chief Robbie Myers said. “They have conquered this industry with grace and style, and we at Elle feel they should be commended for their contributions to this field.”

Also in attendance at the event were celebs such as Jenny McCarthy, Leah Remini, Chelsea Handler, Courteney Cox Arquette, Sheryl Crow and Kerry Washington.

Leonardo DiCaprio put together a new PSA video that’s packed full of Hollywood A-listers because he wants to make sure viewers are registered to vote before election day.

“I mean you do know that, right? You have to register first before you vote,” Leo said in the video.

The video was filmed in Leo’s Los Angeles home over three days and includes appearances by Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Courteney Cox, Tobey Maguire, Forest Whitaker, will.i.am, Jamie Foxx, Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Adam Levine, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Jonah Hill and many more.

Sarah Silverman makes the point that “you can literally register to vote while you’re pooping — if you have a laptop.”

So, there’s really no excuse not to!

Is it just me or does Courteney Cox look a little underdressed for a red carpet event? So weird! She posed for pictures with Renee Zellweger last night during the Appaloosa premiere in Beverly Hills — who appeared to be appropriately dressed in a cute little black number.

Thats right, after years of talk the Friends movie has gotten the go-ahead and could be in production “within the next 18 months” insiders told the UK’s .

Renewed interest in the project was most likely sparked by the recent and successful release of the Sex And The City movie. A source said, “The box office success of Sex And The City has really got their wheels spinning about how a Friends film could be just as big, if done right.” And the cast is excited to fall back into their Friends roles, under the right circumstances.

The circumstances might finally be right! “As the biggest star of the Friends franchise, Jennifer [Aniston] can’t help but look at what’s happened with Sarah Jessica Parker and the Sex And The City film and be a little jealous. What’s held back a Friends movie so far is that people were worried that Jennifer had simply become too famous to play Rachel again. But the truth is that Jennifer is finally willing to do it, and she’d love to work with that whole team of actors and producers again,” added the insider.
