Whitney And Leo Say WHAT?!

October 16th, 2009

Rumor has it that City star Whitney Port is hooking up with Leonardo DiCaprio!

Unfortunately… there is no such truth behind this secret.

Star magazine published the report of a “Hush-Hush Affair” between the reality star and the A-list actor, but a source set the story straight saying, “It’s about as true as The City — it’s made up!”

According to Star, Whitney and Leo flirted and exchanged phone numbers several weeks ago at a party in NYC.

On the contrary though, the source scoffs, “They don’t know each other! They never exchanged numbers.”

Too bad for Whitney… Leo DiCaprio is one hunk we wouldn’t mind being linked to!

Fans Leave Leonardo DiCaprio Shoeless!

Note to celebs: Don’t piss off your fans because there’s no telling what they’ll do in return!

While visiting a hilltop shrine in Kyoto last week, Leonardo DiCaprio encountered a few fans and made the mistake of denying them a photo.

The fans asked the star to pose for a picture, but he turned them away by pointing to a sign prohibiting photography on the premises, according to the New York Post.

The pissed off fans waited until DiCaprio took off his Nike Dunks to enter the temple — and then snatched them!

“The poor guy had to leave the place barefoot,” a source said.

Poor guy? Honestly, how long would it have taken to pose for one picture? Some celebs seriously need to get off their high-horse because they wouldn’t be anything without their fans.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are lending a helping hand to the last Titanic survivor.

The Titanic stars, along with director James Cameron, have contributed to a $30,000 fund for a 98-year-old woman who can’t afford to pay her nursing home bills, according to Access Hollywood.

The celebrities came forward to help Millvina Dean after an appeal by photographer Don Mullan in the Sunday edition of the Irish Independent.

Millvina was the youngest passenger on the Titanic at the age of 9 weeks old and is now it’s last remaining survivor living in Southampton, England.

It’s nice Kate & Leo are helping the last survivor considering that their blockbuster hit on the tragedy catapulted both of their careers in Hollywood to the next level!

The Academy Snubs Leo Again!

Leonardo DiCaprio never seems to get enough credit for his performances.

Even though DiCaprio is getting rave reviews for his performance in Revolutionary Road, he did not get an Oscar nomination.

He’s been nominated for an Academy Award for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Blood Diamond and The Aviator.

Like us Cubs fans like to say, there’s always next year!

Move over Brad Pitt there’s a new hottie in town!

Pitt is being replaced in watch company Tag Heuer’s new ad campaign by none other than Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio, reports WWD .

The six-year contract that Pitt was under ended in November and DiCaprio has signed on for three years, a Tag Heuer spokesperson confirms. Leo’s contract is said to be worth several million dollars.

We can’t wait to see the new ad in which DiCaprio dons the Carrera Day-Date model (which retails for about $4,000). Keep your eyes open, the ad hits billboards and luxury magazines this spring and we bet Leo looks smokin’.

Oprah to Kate Winslet: “God Bless Your Real Breasts!”

January 13th, 2009

Golden Girl Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio and a few other Hollywood A-listers were guests for a lively post-Golden Globes Oprah show today.

Oprah kicked off a live show today with several of this year’s Golden Globes nominees and winners including Winslet, DiCaprio, Mickey Rourke, Ron Howard and Meryl Streep and announced: “Is this not one of the best years we have had in movies?”

O was in rare form for her interview with Winslet, where she didn’t hold back to talk about how she noticed that Winslet has real breasts from watching her in The Reader.

“I love that u have real breasts,” Oprah told Kate. “When your laying down, real breasts, they part! God bless your real breasts!”

Kate went on to talk about how she’s shocked that she was nominated at all and how she has never won in the past.

“I’m still really in shock to be nominated at all in my lifetime,” Winslet said. “I had been nominated in the past and have never won.”

Kate went on to talk about how she’s still shaking and has been since she woke up Golden Globe Sunday.

“I’m still shaking,” Winslet said. “I woke up shaking the morning of the golden globes and I’m still shaking.”

DiCaprio skyped in during the show and publicly congratulated his co-star.

“In a lot of ways, we have grown up in this industry together,” DiCaprio said. “She was going to be the most nominated actress of all time without winning. Thank God she did!”

In a revealing moment during O’s interview with Streep, Oprah said that she called the director of Doubt and asked him if she could be in the film and he told her “no!”

However, the best part of the show was probably when Oprah belted out a high pitched note when Winslet first walked on stage.

She gave a high pitched sustained “laaaaaaaaaaaaaa” for Kate and a big “woooooooooooooooooooooooh” when she introduced Streep! She also sang about Barack Obama’s inauguration. “It’s almost seven more daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaysss,” she sang!

Damn, I want to know what happy pills she’s taking! I see her new rigorous workout regimen with Bob Greene has really brought her Serotonin levels up!

Hooooooollllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Titanic Stars Together Again!

December 16th, 2008

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio looked hotter than ever together for their red carpet reunion at last night’s Revolutionary Road premiere in Los Angeles.

The flick is about a young couple living in a Connecticut suburb during the mid-1950s who struggle to come to terms with their personal problems while trying to raise their two children, according to IMDB.com.

They were great together in Titanic; however, I don’t find the trailer for their new film too appealing!

Kate Winslet Talks Wrinkles & Reuniting With Leo

November 25th, 2008

katewinslet.jpg

Kate Winslet talks about reuniting with Leonardo DiCaprio for her upcoming movie Revolutionary Road and how she’s embracing the aging process in the newest issue of Parade magazine.

On working with her former Titanic co-star, Winslet says one of the most delightful things was seeing onscreen how the two of them have aged.

“I’m like, yes, damn it! Look at those foreheads move! I mean, he has this amazing furrow here (she points to a spot between her eyebrows) which wasn’t as prominent then, and this (Winslet even points to the wrinkles on her own
forehead) is much more prominent in me now. I just love seeing those things. I am enjoying my face changing, as well as realizing that at the same time, as you get older, the machine isn’t as well-oiled as it was.”

I wish I could appreciate wrinkles as much as she does! Click HERE for the full interview.

Celebrities Tell You To Rock The Vote!

October 29th, 2008

Celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberake, Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise and Sacha Baron Cohen (as Borat!) appeared in a new public service announcement to get people to vote yesterday.

In the clip, director Steven Spielberg parodies previous PSAs and tells them to tell fans not to vote.

“You know what? I can’t do it!” Ford finally tells the director. “It’s not true - you want me to tell people that one vote doesn’t count?!”

“I am voting because when I was growing up, my father told me if you don’t vote, then you have to shut up,” Smith says.

This is the second in a series of non-partisan announcements produced by DiCaprio’s production company Appian Way.

It’s very refreshing to see Hollywood band together for a rare non-partisan video to encourage people to vote!
