Unlike most celebrities who made their film debuts at a young age, Natalie Portman didn’t start partying till she was actually legal!

In the latest issue of Marie Claire, Natalie plays the dork card saying, “OK, so I didn’t really go to any high school parties. And yeah, I didn’t touch pot til I was in my 20s.”

Once she got into Harvard University, Natalie started experimenting with substance abuse, admitting, “I didn’t get flat-out drunk until I went to college.”

However, she’s confident in her decision to postpone her party-girl ways saying, “I think that’s a good thing in many ways.”

And while she does enjoy letting loose every so often, drugs and alcohol are not her stimulants of choice. So what is? Work! “Work was like an all-you-can-eat buffet,” she tells the magazine. “And I was like, ‘I’m hungry!’ I tend to get overambitious with what I can do.”

In two upcoming flicks, Portman plays two very different characters. In the drama Brothers, she plays a mother and wife torn between two brothers, Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal.

In her other movie, Black Swan, Portman sets her sights on another woman, Mila Kunis for a love scene. Kunis recently said of the encounter, “It’s two girls making out, and guys have a thing for that. And Nat is like every guy’s dream. She’s a nerd’s idea of heaven…The whole thing is silly, but I can see why people care.”

A beautiful party animal that sometimes kisses girls? Natalie really is every guy’s dream girl!

Good girl Natalie Portman has one SHOCKING obsession!

“Really, really obscene hip-hop. I love it so much,” she tells Jake Gyllenhaal, her costar from the upcoming flick Brothers who talks to the actress in the September issue of Interview. “It makes me laugh and then it makes me want to dance. Those are like my two favorite things, so combined…”

The actress, who infamously rapped about fighting and drinking in a 2008 Saturday Night Live sketch says she’s been listening to the Ying Yang Twins, notably “Wait (The Whisper Song).”

“The lyrics are like, ‘Wait ’til you see my d—’ - which is just amazing because it’s whispered,” she says. “Crazy. So I just listen to it like I’m a 5-year-old, like, ‘Oh my god! I can’t believe he just said that!’”

Who would have every thought this Harvard grad would have a passion for dirty hip-hop?! Ha, we were absolutely shocked!

It’s not all about who you’re voting for — but more that you’re actually registered and are going to vote!

Leonardo DiCaprio put together a new PSA video that’s packed full of Hollywood A-listers because he wants to make sure viewers are registered to vote before election day.

“I mean you do know that, right? You have to register first before you vote,” Leo said in the video.

The video was filmed in Leo’s Los Angeles home over three days and includes appearances by Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Courteney Cox, Tobey Maguire, Forest Whitaker, will.i.am, Jamie Foxx, Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Adam Levine, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Jonah Hill and many more.

Sarah Silverman makes the point that “you can literally register to vote while you’re pooping — if you have a laptop.”

So, there’s really no excuse not to!

Natalie Portman is no longer dating hairy musician Devendra Banhart.

An insider close to Devendra told In Touch, “Yes, they have broken up. Natalie and Devendra will remain friends but need some space and time away.”

The couple had met in March when Portman starred in one of Banhart’s music video’s. The two were so hot and heavy that Portman, 27, had moved from her native NYC to LA to be closer to Banhart, 27.

Natalie Portman appeared on Good Morning America today to chat with Diane Sawyer about her new movie My Blueberry Nights.

Portman also talks about how having been born in Israel she’s fluent in Hebrew and English, and her recent decision to go vegan after having been a vegetarian since she was 9 years-old.

Prince Charles appeared to keep his royal manners last night when he met Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman at the London premiere of The Other Boleyn Girl.
