We’re as shocked as the rest of you, but, The Guinness Book of World Records has declared 19 year-old Emma Watson as the biggest-grossing female star of the 00s. Her film work with the Harry Potter series has grossed $5.4 billion in global box office receipts.

It was her role as Hermione Granger in the six Potter films, released so far, that cinched her top spot. And interestingly enough, Emma’s overall work actually earned more in ticket sales than her male costars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint (Emma lent her voice to the animated flick The Tale of Despereaux in 2008).

And to add another shocking twist, Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall) was the second top-earning actress of the decade. How she beat out big-hitters like Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock is beyond us!

As for the men, unfortunately the boys of Harry Potter didn’t take the cake like their leading ladies. While Guinness names Samuel L. Jackson top-grosser, Entertainment Weekly actually awarded Orlando Bloom with the honors for his roles in the Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lord of the Rings trilogies.

Looks like some of these A-List actresses really need to step up their game…

Hollywood’s favorite pretty woman has just earned herself a new title!

Lancome has just named Julia Roberts the “global ambassadress” of the brand.

“By her remarkable personality and career, Julia Roberts is an emblematic woman of her time,” Lancome’s international president Youcef Nabi said Friday in a statement. “Her exceptional talent, her radiance and her strong commitments, perfectly echo Lancome’s values. We are convinced she will embody the brand in the most sublime way possible.”

Other celebs have endorsed Lancome (including Kate Winslet and Anne Hathaway), however, Julia is the first official spokesmodel for the entire brand.

Specifics of her role have yet to be revealed.

The actress dropped the F-bomb several times during a speech honoring Tom Hanks at a Film Society of Lincoln Center event Monday night in New York City.

“Alright well, it’s late and I’m paying my babysitter overtime and I have to pee,” Roberts began according to Usmagazine.com. “So Tom, everybody f*cking likes you. All my bits are gone. Listen, I had lunch today with Rita [Wilson, Hanks' wife], and her tits were here [motioned high] and her waist was here [motioned small] and her ass was like that [motioned high], so what can I tell you that’s new? Tom Hanks, what the f*ck?”

She then went on to talk about Hanks’ hair in LadyKillers.

“I love the Cohen brothers, but the hair Tom [in Ladykillers], I didn’t even know what the f*ck that movie was about!”

At the end of her little rant, she talked about how she’s wearing the same dress as Hanks’ publicist: “God, I’m wearing the same f*cking dress tonight as your publicist!”

What a f*cking bizarre speech! We’ve never known Julia to have a lot of class or any for that matter!

Yep, this is the Julia that we saw when she was here in Chicago filming Ocean’s Twelve. She flipped out at reporters, police officers, paparazzi and even was cold to children trying to get a glimpse of her on the set. Even in the presence of George Clooney.

I’m sorry, but you have to be a pretty miserable woman to not be in a great mood around Clooney!

The Dave Matthews Band performed last night at Madison Square Garden for the Stand Up For A Cure event, hosted by Julia Roberts.

Julia Roberts was on location filming Duplicity last night in New York City. It looks like she may have toned down her diva ways. When Roberts shot Ocean’s Twelve a few years ago in Chicago she did not want crew to get within a few feet of her or talk to her. That’s clearly not the case in this photo.

When Ryan Reynolds got cast in the movie Fireflies in the Garden with Julia Roberts the young actor was stoked to be working with such a hot mama. Little did he know that Roberts would be playing his mama in the movie!

The Definitely, Maybe star is only 9 years her junior at 31 years-old, but Hollywood works magic when it comes to this stuff.

“I was so excited [to work with Julia] until I found out the scenes I have with her are when she’s playing my mother,” Reynolds told Parade.com magazine. “I was like, ‘Couldn’t we have a hot romance instead?’ It’s so sad. I have to tell my friends that I’m getting to act with the old Julia Roberts.”

Reynolds admitted he’s still lucky to be working with Roberts at all. “Julia is such a class act. She’s iconic for a very good reason. It’s just so smooth, how she comes to the set and how she works. It looks incredibly effortless. She’s just a classy lady.”

Fergie shopped at the Calvin Klein store on Madison Avenue Monday afternoon in New York City. These pics reminded me of the Julia Roberts’ Rodeo Drive shopping spree in Pretty Woman.

I wonder if the sales women were nicer to Fergie? I think she looks cute in all these photos.
