Nicole Riche’s daughter Harlow gets her flirt on at the recording studio!
Richie — who was among the 80 stars packed together like sardines at Henson Recording studios to raise money for Haiti earthquake relief — brought her daughter Harlow along for the unforgettable experience.
“Watched harlow flirt with Kanye, Cary Hart, Busta [Rhymes], Sean garret, and the jonas brothers,” dad Joel Madden joked via Twitter. “Just like her mom, she plays hard to get.”
Kanye girl?! Stay away from the douche bags!
Richie — who lent her vocals for the song — says she got carried away belting out the remake of We Are the World and even out-sang power house, Jennifer Hudson!
“I hope Jennifer Hudson wasn’t upset that I was out-singing her tonight,” Richie sarcastically Tweeted.
“WOW,” she Tweeted after the event. “Brian Wilson stood next to me & I got to hear him sing right into my left ear. Can you say AWESOME!”
Richie — who was four years old when her dad Lionel Richie wrote the original with her godfather MJ — said she was “excited” to do it again and “help make a change.”
Uhh, since when does Nicole sing?! Well if Miley can, we guess she can too!
Since life in the spotlight took off, Nicole Richie has had to endure numerous rumors about her shrinking figure. However, now, the much-matured mother of two is speaking out and putting to rest all assumptions of an eating disorder.
Back in 2006, alarming photos were taken of Nicole and her bony figure on the beach in a bikini. This was the kick-off to a whirlwind of rumors, but even at the time, Nicole was addressing the issue, telling Vanity Fair, “I know I’m too thin right now. I’m not happy with the way I look right now.”
However, now nearly four years later, she’s opening up about how she really felt about all the scrutiny.
“I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don’t,” she says in the March issue of British Marie Claire. “It’s extremely insulting and irresponsible.”
Adds Nicole, “An eating disorder is serious and it’s a disease.”
But now, with the love from boyfriend Joel Madden and their two beautiful children, Nicole doesn’t want to dwell on the past!
“I’m just one to live in the present and enjoy the time that I’m having,” she says. “Going into my past is just not something that I do.”
She continues, “Right now I’m just living my dreams.”
Currently, Nicole is working on an ABC sitcom which she would both star in and produce, based on the life of a career-driven women who balances her job and family. Additionally, her new clothing line, Winter Kate, is set to launch this spring.
Wow, it’s obvious that over the past few years Nicole has completely matured and really isn’t living such a Simple Life anymore! You go girl!
Today, Monday Jan. 11, marks the second birthday of Harlow Winter Kate Madden, the daughter to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
And Nicole is set on making this the most special day for her daughter! This morning at 6 a.m., Nicole Tweeted, “Up super early sneaking around the house in the dark setting up surprises for when my birthday girl wakes up!”
And even before Nicole woke up, Harlow’s daddy wished his daughter a happy birthday via Twitter, saying, “Happy Birthday to the most beautiful little girl in the world. Harlow makes me proud every. single. Day. i’m blessed.”
Also to wish the little girl a happy b-day… Khloe Kardashian! “Happy Birthday Harlow!!!” she Tweeted earlier this morning.
What a lucky little girl! We can’t imagine what kind of presents and surprises Nicole has planned… but we bet she get’s spoiled rotten!
Nicole Richie ditched her blonde locks and debuted a darker do Saturday at the launch of the House of Harlow 1960 Holiday Collection at Bloomingdale’s in Costa Mesa, California.
“I did it about a week-and-a-half ago,” the mommy-of-two told Usmagazine.com when asked about her new look. “I change my hair color all the time, and I hadn’t done it in a few years. With the babies, I just really hadn’t had time. I’m so used to having that change all the time, and I hadn’t done it in about two years, so I was just ready and sick of being blonde! I was ready for a change!”
Hair color doesn’t define Ms. Richie’s fun though! This girl pops out LOLs like it’s her freakin’ job!
So what does the Richie-Madden bunch have planned for the holidays?
“I don’t have a lot of traditions,” she said. “I have gotten a new Christmas ornament every year so I will probably do that. I’m a big eggnog drinker. Not the kind with alcohol in it, but the regular kind. I thought that everyone drinks eggnog, but as I’m getting older, I’m learning that people actually think it’s really gross, but I love it, so I will definitely have some eggnog!”
It will for sure be a fun Christmas with two little kiddies running around!
Despite recent rumors claiming that Nicole Richie wants out of Hollywood, the former Simple Life star is headed back to the small screen!
Richie — who’s already a comedian in our eyes — has landed her own comedy pilot! She’s set to headline a half-hour sitcom in development at ABC, according to Variety.
The new show focuses around a professional woman with complicated family relationships who just can’t seem to figure out the her role in life and her family.
Hmm, sounds a bit like Nicole’s earlier life!
Surprisingly, Richie had the initial idea for the pilot and will also work as the producer on the upcoming show, according to the report.
Suh-weet! We couldn’t be more excited for Nicole’s TV comeback! Girl gave us a major case of the LOLs on The Simple Life and we can’t wait for more!
Nicole Richie is safe and sound at home with her family after an unexpected trip to the hospital last week!
The reality star checked herself into Cedars-Sinai Hospital early last week after becoming ill due to pneumonia.
“Don’t worry,” her boyfriend Joel Madden wrote on the website for his band, Good Charlotte. “All is well and we are home with no problems.”
Like your typical concerned boyfriend, rushing to his babies mama side after returning from an international tour, Madden says he, “stepped off the plane . . . and basically went straight to the hospital for the week . . . Family first.”
Is it just us or does he seem like the best boyfriend ever? The world seriously needs more Joel Maddens — a guy that knows how to treat a girl right — instead of all these ASSHOLES. Period.
Now that his girl is on the road to recovery, Madden is eager to get back to work on his band’s next album. Let’s hope he’s also keeping babies Harlow and Sparrow away from their germ infested mommy!
“Getting home from the hospital to a healthy family is enough for me, but to do what i love is the icing on the cake,” he writes.

Breaking News! Nicole Richie just checked herself into a Los Angeles hospital for pneumonia!
The star’s rep tells Usmagazine.com, “Nicole has checked into Ceders Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well.”
Unfortunately, due to her severe illness, Nicole had to bow out of the Nov. 10 launch of her House of Harlow jewelry, being retailed at Bebe stores in L.A.
Nicole Richie recently debuted her post-baby body and she’s lookin good! So what’s her secret…?!
“I’ve lost 10lbs from dancing!!” she bragged on Twitter.
Apparently the mother of two went to see Jay-Z (and special guest Rihanna) at L.A.’s Pauly Pavillion on Sunday. Along with her weight loss tweet she added, “H to the izzo. V to the izza!!” followed by a blurry photo of the concert stage and the message “I”m gonna need crutches tomorrow!”
Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel were also in attendance at the show.
Sparrow is Nicole’s second child with Good Charlotte’sJoel Madden. Their other daughter, Harlow, is 21 months old.

Out of the gazillion paps in L.A., Nicole Richie is finally getting a break from two of them!
On Friday, lawyers for Richie obtained a temporary restraining order against crazy paps Eduardo “Bam Bam” Arriveben and Ivon Miguel, TMZ.com reports.
The two have been asked to stay 100 yards away from Richie, her two children, and her staff.
In a statement, the former reality star explains that the duo harass her “on a daily basis” and have been “stalking our home, as we try to go about living over lives.”
“Bam Bam” and Miguel are the same men that rear-ended Richie’s Land Rover last month causing her to seek medical treatment for minor injuries.
The group is scheduled to meet back in court later this month to potentially make the restraining order permanent.

Cute couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were rumored to have wed in the latest issue of Star magazine. Unfortunately, Joel denied the claims on his band’s website.
“I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married,” he blogs.
The unwed lovebirds have two children together, Sparrow and Harlow.
Last may, the two had no immediate plans to wed.
“I think for both of us, we are going to do it because we want to, not because that’s what you do,” Richie told CNN’s Larry King. “We’re going to do it when the time’s right.”
Added Madden, “We’re really focused on our family, and we feel like — we already feel kind of married, you know? Our family system that we have down, we feel like this is a real family and marriage, one day it will come.”
