After overcoming sickness late last year, Tori Spelling is now playing doctor to hubby Dean McDermott and mom Candy Spelling!
We’re wondering where Tori got her nurturing skills from because it certainly wasn’t from mommy dearest!
“I recently had surgery on my neck,” Candy told Usmagazine.com at the GBK Gift Lounge at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood Saturday. “[McDermott] got in an accident when he was doing the motorcycles last week at the races…he smashed his left shoulder.”
Looks like Candy reconciled with her daughter at just the right time! If they hadn’t decided to bury the hatchet in December after a five year feud, Candy’s sorry ass would probably be sitting at home suffering!
Fortunately, Candy says their relationship now is “absolutely great. We are terrific!”
Since making nice with Tori, Candy has been enjoying quality time with her grandkids.
“They are great,” Candy gushed. “Right now I am not picking them up because of my surgery, but I’m going to see them next week actually.”
We give it a few months until Candy blabs to the media about RIDIC nonsense resulting in yet another feud with her daughter!
Though Candy Spelling has put her bitchiness on hold in order to build a relationship with her estranged daughter Tori, does that mean she’ll be invited to spend the holidays with the fam?
“I think so — it’s the holidays, right?” Tori’s husband Dean McDermott told Usmagazine.com at ABC Family’s World Record Elf Party on Monday in NYC.
Candy must’ve brushed up on her grandma skills because Dean confirmed reports that she had recently met her grandchildren, Liam, 2, and Stella, 1, for the first time.
“They had a blast,” McDermott told Us. “We’re keeping everything private and in the family.”
Private, yeah right! Candy’s big mouth will be talking to the media before they know it!
While Tori has been in and out of the hospital over the past few months, her hubby tells Us, “Tori is great. She didn’t make the trip out here because the little ones have a cold, and it’s a long flight, so she didn’t want to fly and get sick on the plane.”
What’s on Dean’s Christmas wish-list?
“Being with the kids, getting up early with the crazy hair and bad breath, and grazing all day.”
We wouldn’t be surprised if Candy goes into full blown psycho bitch mode at Christmas dinner and ruins her relationship with Tori and the fam yet again! Girl is like a ticking time bomb!
Looks like Candy and Tori Spelling are getting into the holiday season because they’ve actually made amends for the millionth time and are on speaking terms again!
Spelling revealed Thursday that she has indeed reconciled with her estranged daughter after an on going feud, according to Usmagazine.com.
“We have been communicating,” momma Spelling said during an interview at Spelling Manor, her L.A. home. “And we’ve taken it to a place that I’m very very pleased with.”
Over the summer, Candy slammed Tori’s Oxygen show Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, insinuating that the couple used their two young children as “reality show props.”
The mother daughter duo have been on the rocks since before the 2006 death of Aaron Spelling, in which Candy blames Tori for abandoning him on his deathbed.
“That’s what killed my husband actually,” she sniped in a radio interview. “He just didn’t want to live after that. You know, he had done everything … he could possibly do for his daughter and she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for her.”
But Candy and Tori are willing to give their relationship another shot! They literally may wanna take a few before their family encounters… ease the tension, ya know?
“We’re handling it privately,” Candy told Us of their patched-up relationship. “I’m very happy to say that that’s how we’ll deal with it at this point. I’m so happy. That’s all I want to say about this topic — I’m happy.”
Good luck, Candy! We give it a month before she screws it up again!
It’s war between anorexic Tori Spelling and Star magazine.
In the Oct. 19 issue of the rag, physician Dr. Stuart Fischer told Star that the 36-year-old mother of two looks like she weighs only a shockingly 95 pounds. In response Tori Tweeted: “come 2 my house&weigh me Star! I’m 107lbs.”
Star has taken her up on her offer and staffers are waiting for Tori to name the time and date for the big weigh in. So far, she hasn’t responded. We’re guessing there is a fat chance she ever will because someone as sick as her has got to be in total denial about her weight.
Also, even if the 5′5″ Lifetime actress is 107 lbs., Fischer, who has not treated her, noted that she would still have to gain at least 13 lbs., more to be considered remotely healthy.
And even if Tori is 107 lbs. - we’re guessing that if you subtract the several pounds her breast implants contribute to her overall body weight - Dr. Fischer’s estimate would be right on target!
Tori Spelling has been admitted to the hospital and undergoing tests related to severe abdominal pain.
A rep for the Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood star confirmed the actress was admitted into a medical facility Monday night after experiencing stomach pains and returned the following day for more tests, according to Access Hollywood.
“Just out of the hospital,” hubby Dean McDermott wrote on Twitter. “After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She’s in a lot of pain.”
McDermott also recently went to the hospital for what he called “a really bad stomach virus”.
“We’re not ruling out appendix though,” the LMN actor wrote on Twitter. “Keepin an eye on it.”
Two days later their 2-year-old son, Liam, suffered the same ailment.
“Kids immune systems are amazing,” McDermott tweeted. “Liam got the flu last night, and now he’s fine. Simply amazing.”
And as fate would have it, their 1-year-old daughter, Stella, got sick two days after Liam did.
Their family sounds like a mess! We wish Tori a speedy recovery, but we can’t help but wonder if her stomach pains are due to the fact that she doesn’t feed herself! Try eating Tori — and then maybe the pains will go away!

Candy Spelling To Use Herself As A Reality-TV Prop!
August 25th, 2009
It’s clear now why Tori Spelling’s mom, Candy, ripped on her for having her own reality-TV show: jealousy!
Just a month after Candy trashed Tori by accusing her as using her children as “reality show props” it looks like she’ll get her own show too!
She said it’s “sort of” in the works,” Candy told RadarOnline.com. “But I can’t talk about it.” (But you just did…)
She went on to say this about the show she can’t talk about: “[It's] scripted - I wouldn’t do reality.”
Oh Candy, you just HAD to throw in another jab at your daughter. You’re one sick woman!
Tori took the high road as usual and says she wishes her mom the best.
“I wish her the best,” Tori said. “That would be great.”
Candy could learn a thing or two from her daughter!
Tori Spelling continues to keep it classy in the never ending fued with her mom Candy Spelling!
Tori, who recently returned home from a Mexico vacay with hubby Dean McDermott and kiddies Liam and Stella, opened up to OK! about her rocky relationship with her mom.
“I definitely want to reconcile with my mother, but that’s the wrong word,” Tori confessed to OK!. “There’s nothing that really happened that made us fight. It’s just time, distance and media that have come between my mom and me.”
It’s obvious that Candy wants a relationship with her daughter and grandchildren but she’s going about it in all the wrong ways! Don’t use magazines, talk-shows, and gossip blogs to communicate with your daughter, idiot!
“I just think that as long as we both keep it private from here on out, reconciliation is imminent. It will totally happen and I hope that she wants that,” Tori expressed at the grand opening of A Hollywood Spectacle earlier this week.
In an open letter to TMZ.com, Candy recently dubbed Tori’s children as reality-TV show props.
“I am proud of my kids, but I also want to make my mom proud of me. I’m still a momma’s girl at the heart of the situation,” Tori added. “I look forward to the relationship that Liam and Stella will have with their grandmother one day and I’m confident that it will happen.”
Candy needs to grow up and just kiss and make up with Tori already!
Candy Spelling doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut! Especially when it comes to her estranged daughter’s children.
Spelling has recently been attempting to reconnect with her daughter Tori and grandchildren, but is doing it in all the wrong ways!
Last month, Spelling wrote an open letter to Tori and her family on TMZ.com claiming she skipped her granddaughter Stella’s first birthday party because it was a made-for-TV “set-up”. Tori’s husband, Dean McDermott’s response? “Everyone’s entitled to their opinion.”
Candy is such a fame a whore! What kind of mother attempts to reach out to her daughter through TMZ? Real classy, Candy. Your next book should be about parenting!
Tori stayed out of the drama and didn’t even give her mother the satisfaction of knowing she read the bogus claims.
When asked her thoughts on Candy’s letter, Tori responded by stating that her family was “really happy” on vacation and “hadn’t read anything.”
At least Tori didn’t inherit Candy’s immaturity!
Although Tori seemed willing to brush the letter off, husband Dean came to his wife’s defense against her mom’s accusations that they use their kids as “reality show props.”
“We don’t use our children as props. We take really good care of our children,” he recently told TMZ.com cameras at LAX airport.
And of course Candy tried to mend fences for the millionth time last week in an interview with USA Today telling Tori, “I love you, and I always will.”
When is Candy going to learn that she actually has to tallk to her daughter one-on-one instead of relying on newspapers, magazines, and blogs to relay her messages?!
Candy Spelling is publicly bashing her daughter, Tori Spelling, again!
Candy posted an open letter on TMZ knocking her daughter for making her children “reality show props.”
It all started when Tori invited her estranged mother to her baby girl, Stella’s, first birthday party, but Candy was a no show.
In Candy’s letter, she addressed it to “MIDDLE-AGED REALITY SHOW STARS (LIKE MY DAUGHTER),” and the letter reads: “A big party wasn’t how I envisioned meeting my granddaughter for the first time; but, hey, this is Hollywood, and my grandchildren have become reality show props, too.
“At the time I emailed ‘yes,’ I didn’t realize I was being set up for a two-[part episode], even though it was clear I was being invited to be part of a segment for my daughter’s reality show,” she writes. “I decided my first meeting with my granddaughter should be on home video, not primetime cable; so I e-mailed that I would not be attending.”
Candy goes on to imply that Tori’s “whining” about what happened during her childhood gets old after a while.
“My husband taught me that the plots have to be fresh and updated. The same old whining gets tired after a while,” Candy writes. “Enough complaining about what may or may not have happened during first grade or YMCA camp, or what vegetable you were forced to endure, especially when you are privileged enough to be on TV and get paid for it… Life isn’t just a show. Make your own season finale without creating conflicts you will regret later.”
Candy is the ultimate hypocrite. We love how she is PUBLICLY bashing Tori for displaying her family on a reality-TV show. I mean, couldn’t she have just sent Tori the letter in an e-mail as opposed to giving it to TMZ?!
Candy Spelling complains all the time that she’s never met her granddaughter and then she goes and ditches her welcome invitation to attend her first birthday!
Candy’s famous estranged daughter, Tori, invited her to Stella’s first birthday party this past Saturday in Encino, Calif., sources tell Usmagazine.com.
Candy RSVPed yes, but she never showed up.
“Candy did RSVP to the event but decided not to attend when she found out there would be cameras there,” a Candy source said. “She wanted it to be an entirely private meeting.”
But a Tori source says Candy “knew there would be cameras and had her people call a week before to have the photo releases sent over.”
To make matters worse, Candy waited till the last minute to cancel.
“She waited until one hour before the event to notify Tori, by email, that she wasn’t attending,” adds the Tori source. “Tori was busy preparing and didn’t get the email until after the party. She was waiting for her mom the whole time.”
It’s just another example of her mother disappointing her daughter. It’s so sad! Candy needs to get over herself and for once in her life act like a mother to Tori and a grandmother to little Stella!
