Not only is Kate Gosselin's hit reality-TV show delayed, so is her next book! One week after her and Jon Gosselin filed for divorce, her publisher is delaying the debut date of the TV mom's upcoming cookbook Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories. It was orginally set to hit the stores in November, and had been set to be an inside look at one of America's most famous "close-knit families", according to the New York Post. In addition, Kate had planned to offer up family photos and anecodotes about their twins and sextuplets. It now will likely undergo some changes. Zondervan publisher Maureen Girkins said she plans "work with Kate to reassess the schedule for her next book." We think they should change the theme of the book into using food to make divorce less painful for the children!

Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she was very "uncomfortable" with the behavior her character, Carrie, displayed in Sex and the City! Parker kept her mouth shut about her true feelings about the show's characters' bad habits, dirty language and promiscuity, because she feared she wouldn't be hired to do the series. "If the audiences had known my true feelings about some of the sexual content in Sex and The City, they may have felt I wasn't the right person to be in such a series," Sarah recently confessed. "I just don't drink, that's part of the problem. I've never smoked anything other than the occasional cigarette in my whole life - and have never taken drugs of any kind." On top of that, Parker had a no-nudity clause written into her contract and turned a blind eye when her costars stripped down for the lens. "I was thrilled that the others did the scenes so well and they looked great. But I have to deal with my own modesty," Parker admitted. "I wasn't comfortable with the vulgar language, either. I thought that, because Carrie was a writer, she would be able to use better language than she did." Well, not everyone can be as perfect as Miss. SJP. At least Carrie never stayed with a man who repeatedly cheated on her!!!

Mariah Carey is firing back at Eminem in her new video Obsessed by dressing up just like Slim Shady and mocking him. Carey wore sweatpants and a hoody, Em's fave outfit, as she shot scenes for her video Monday on the streets of New York City. This is clearly in response to her lyrics from Eminem's recent album Relapse where he trashes Carey rapping: "Mariah whatever happened to us...Why did we ever have to break-up?" He also knocked her husband, "Nick Cannon, you better back the f--- up. I'm not playing, I want her back, you punk." Cannon shot back at Em on his blog "Slim Lamey," is "still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn't let him get to second base from 8 years ago." And the feud continues!

Even in death Michael Jackson's life appears to get more and more bizarre with reports now claiming that he was not the biological father to his children! Even though Jackson married his babies mama, Debbie Rowe, Us Weekly is claiming their biological father is Jackson's L.A.-based dermatologist and Rowe's former boss Arnold Klein. "He is the dad," a source says in the new issue of Us. "He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth." Rowe never confirmed if her marriage with Jackson was consummated, but did admit in 2002 that she carried his children as a personal favor. So does that mean Jackson went through with official channels to legally adopt the children?! If he didn't, his parents probably don't have much of a legal leg to stand on. So bizzare!

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick released a seemingly picture perfect family photo featuring their new twin daughters, but we know better! In the photo SJP is holding newborn Marion Loretta Elwell and Broderick is holding Tabitha Hodge with their son, James Wilkie, in-between them. The photo may fool some into believing they are the perfect happy little family, but we in the press all know that their marriage has been plagued with infidelity and other problems for several years! It looks like Bachelor dumpee Melissa Rycroft just may get her happily ever after. The reality-TV show contestant's boyfriend, Tye Strickland, proposed to her at Cretia's restaurant in Dallas on Friday night among 20 of their friends and family. This comes just four months after Rycroft was brutally dumped on national television. "When they walked in, everybody stood up and clapped," the staffer told Usmagazine.com adding that Rycroft looked "beaming happy." The happy couple toasted with champagne and closed the restaurant down at 2 a.m. Rycroft and her insurance agent fiance began dating in March after Bachelor's Jason Mesnick proposed to her and then distastefully dumped her on television. "We've been really good friends, but the timing was never right," she told Us. "With all this going on, he's my support system. It's funny how things happen." We couldn't be happier for the Dancing With The Stars beauty, because if anyone deserves a happy ending it's her! And we're guessing Jason is still busy being a total DOUCHE!

With all the press hoopla in the wake of Michael Jackson's death about the fate of his estate and children, it seems the media is forgetting about a very special furry friend of his: Bubbles the chimpanzee! People did some investigative reporting and it turns out the chimp is alive and well at a Florida primate sanctuary. The 26-year old chimp, who lived with Jackson in the 80's, has been living at the Center For Great Apes with fellow chimpanzees and orangutans. Caretakers say he is a very sweet and thoughtful chimp. "He's a very sweet and nice chimp, he really is," sanctuary director Patti Ragan told People. "I've seen him go to the drinking fountain, start to take a sip of water and then, when he hears one of the younger ones coming, he'll step back and let them have a sip." However, Bubbles has not been informed about the tragic death of his former bestie and owner. "We haven't said anything to him yet," Ragan said adding that that he's shown no signs of knowing: "He's been his usual self, interacting with friends, eating well, taking cover when it rains." Poor Bubbles left in the dark about his BFF's passing! Well, you know what they say - ignorance is bliss!

Jon and Kate Gosselin have broken up with the press! After filing for divorce just last week, the former couple are speaking out publicly one last time. "During this very difficult time we will be working to focus solely on the needs of our family. This includes no longer commenting publicly or reacting to media stories and speculation," the Gosselins said -- in a public statement released on the official web site for the TLC network. We'd like to know who finally knocked some sense into these two! "Our goal is to do the very best for our children and that will be done as privately as possible," the statement continued. "We appreciate the understanding, support and well wishes from so many." So they won't be speaking to the press anymore, but will Kate continue to strut her bikini bearing body for the paparazzi?!

Looks like the King of Pop's mother will be taking care of the children for the time being as she continues to fight for permanent custody! Katherine Jackson has been granted temporary guardianship of Michael Jackson's three children today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Usmagazine.com confirmed. A hearing has been set for Aug. 3 to determine whether or not she'll become their permanent guardian. Katherine filed the petition Monday requesting the court to appoint her as guardian of Jackson's three children as the kids have "no relationship with their biological mother," Debbie Rowe, according to TMZ.com. In addition, she also asked to serve as the temporary guardian of the children's estates, but judge Mitchell Beckloff rejected the request. She's currently fighting to become the administrator of Michael's estate to ensure his children are its beneficiaries, the Associated Press reports. It's obvious that Katherine is the only person that should be taking on this responsibility. The Jackson family hasn't even heard from Rowe, who gave up her custody rights after she and Michael divorced in 1999. On Monday's Today show, the Jacksons' attorney Londell McMillan said there isn't "anybody who thinks that there is someone better" than Katherine Jackson to have custody. "She is a very loving host of other grandchildren." Luckily, for the sake of the Jackson family and kids, it doesn't look like Rowe will attempt to regain custody of the children. In a statement over the weekend, Rowe's attorney, Marta Almli, said: "Ms. Rowe's only thoughts at this time have been regarding the devastating loss Michael's family has suffered. Ms. Rowe requests that Michael's family, and particularly the children, be spared such harmful, sensationalist speculation and that they be able to say goodbye to their loved one in peace."

On Sunday night, Oxiclean pitchman, Billy Mays was found dead by his wife in their Tampa home. Florida medical examiners believe he most likely died of a heart attack, seeing as how the spokesman suffered from hypertensive heart diesease. Additionally, the day before his death, Mays bumped his head during a rough landing on a commercial plane, but no head trauma was found. To make the diagnosis more difficult, Mays was taking prescription painkillers Tramadol and hydrocodone for hip pain, but there was no signs indicating drug abuse. "Everyone [who knew] him was aware of his larger-than-life personality, generosity and warmth," the Discovery Channel, which aired his series, Pitchmen, told Usmagazine.com in a statement. "Billy was a pioneer in his field … He will be greatly missed as a loyal and compassionate friend. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family at this time of incredible loss." What a devastating week in show biz. All of our lost entertainers will be greatly missed.
