Even after his death, Michael Jackson continues his reign over pop music!
Sony Music Entertainment has inked a deal that will put $200 million into the King of Pop’s estate. The deal — which will be formally announced on Tuesday — guarantees ten projects over the next seven years and has become the largest recording contract in history, RadarOnline.com reports.
The projects of the late singer — due out this fall — will include an album of unreleased songs, a re-release of Jackson’s 1979 hit album Off The Wall, with bonus tracks and a DVD of Jackson’s video collection.
“During his life, Michael’s contracts set the standard for the industry,”John Branca, one of the Jackson estate executors, says. “By all objective criteria, this agreement with Sony Music demonstrates the lasting power of Michael’s music by exceeding all previous industry benchmarks.”
Sony’s Rob Stringer says his company is “dedicated to protecting this icon’s legacy, and we’re thrilled that we can continue to bring his music to the world for the foreseeable future.”
Michael Jackson’s Doctor Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter
February 8th, 2010
On Monday morning, Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray. was charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with MJ’s death, the Los Angeles County DA’s Office announced in a press release.
At the time of his death, back in June 2009, Murray was Michael’s live-in doctor.
According to the DA’s press release:
“Dr. Conrad Robert Murray, 56 was charged in case No. SA 073164, filed at the Airport Branch of Los Angeles Superior Court. The count alleged that Murray “ did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson…in the commission of an unlawful act, not amounting to a felony; and in the commission of a lawful act which might have produced death, in an unlawful manner, and without due caution and circumspection.”
Arraignment will be held later Monday.
Although authorities have ruled Michael’s shocking death as a homicide, Murray has been kept in the spotlight since the tragic event. A lot of the controversy revolved around Propofol, a strong anesthetic Murray was giving MJ. However, through his attorney, Murray claims he never gave Michael anything that “should have” killed him.
However, Janet Jackson and othre family members have publicly noted that they hold Murray responsible for Michael’s death because, as Janet publicly stated, “he was the one who was administering.”
Finally, a little closure to this devestating and overwhelming case.
Where or where has Michael Jackson’s youngest son gone, or where or where could he be?!
Hiding under a blanket at the Grammys! Just kidding y’all, just kidding!
While MJ’s eldest children, Prince Michael, 12, and Paris 11, accepted their late daddio’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys Sunday, little 7-year-old Blanket was hiding out backstage.
The boy “became overwhelmed” moments before he was supposed to join his siblings on stage, so he sat out, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Though he appeared a tad bashful, Blanket seemed more relaxed backstage posing with Lionel Richie’s smooth ass.
As Blanket watched from backstage, his bro Prince Michael praised their late father: “Through all his songs, his message was simple: Love,” he said. “We will continue to spread his message and help the world.”
Paris ended the acceptance speech and told the audience, “We love you, Daddy.”
Props to MJ’s kids! Not only are they some of the strongest ones out there but gorgeous too!
It’s been a rough four months for Michael Jackson’s beautiful children, and though they’ve had the entire support of the Jackson family, they’ve now turned to therapy to cope with the death of their father.
In an interview with London’s Mirror newspaper, Michael’s sister LaToya Jackson explained how the kids are dealing with his death.
“Prince just doesn’t want to speak about it,” LaToya said. “I do worry about him very much.”
While Prince is keeping mum, sister Paris loves to talk about her famous daddy.
Paris “thinks and talks about her father all the time. She’s doing very well, writes a lot and she wears his shirts every day,” LaToya added. “They still smell of him and it helps her feel close to him.”
MJ’s youngest child, Blanket appears to express his sadness the most out of the bunch.
Blanket “is just a very sad, shy little boy,” LaToya said. “He cries – he really does cry. It’s so painful for him. No one can bring his daddy back and it hurts so much. They all go to therapy and I truly hope Prince especially will be able to open up.”
How sad! Girls always have a tendency to be more emotional and willing to talk about their feelings while boys find it easier to just keep them inside and try to move on. Hopefully therapy will encourage Prince to open up because keeping his feelings to himself will only make things worse for him in the future.
LaToya also went on to talk about the talents of Michael’s children.
“Paris doesn’t know it but she has all the makings of a star,” said LaToya. “If she wants to go into showbiz I can see that happening. The boys like the idea of directing, which is what Michael wanted to do. Kids are resilient. He gave them so much love and that is helping them.”
If this family has any brains, they won’t encourage the kids to get into the entertainment industry. Just look at what fame did to MJ… that’s the last things these kids need to get involved with!
Unfortunately, with most of this family, all they see is $$$!
On Sunday night, Michael Jackson’s highly anticipated single This Is It debuted online.
The never-before-released song began streaming online and playing on the radio at midnight on Monday.
The song opens with Michael singing “This is it, here I stand/I’m the light of the world, I feel grand.”

Additionally, two versions of the song will be part of a new two-disc album that includes all of Michael’s greatest hits as well as a rare listen of unreleased demo versions of his classics.

Inside Crazy Joe Jackson’s Chaotic Chicago Birthday Party!
August 25th, 2009
Joe Jackson celebrated his birthday on Saturday night at a chaotic celebration at a home in the Chicago suburb Tinley Park that would’ve been more fitting at the Neverland Ranch!
Guests began arriving for the King of Pop’s pop’s bash at 6 p.m. and if one didn’t know any better – you would’ve thought that it was a Pimp n’ ho-themed party. People strolled in with canes, crazy hats, neon lights brighter than the Las Vegas strip flashing on their shirts and one lady even dared to strike a pose in a white bikini, with a white fishnet sweater cover-up and stilettos on the red-carpet.
The man of the hour himself arrived three hours fashionably late with an entourage big enough for a 4th of July parade!
Jackson strolled from room to room through the sea of about 700 guests greeting people and caused quite the fire hazard. Guests pushed and shoved in an attempt to get an autograph, picture or glimpse of the Jackson dad. However, if you didn’t have a stash of cash with you - you were out of luck! Jackson told one guest he’d only sign an autograph for a crisp hundy!
Jackson had a bevy of beauties as part of his entourage including some artists on his record label such as up and coming singer Zika.
His singers were disappointed when an audio malfunction prevented them from performing that night as scheduled - but in true dirty old man fashion Jackson seemed more concerned with keeping his happy hands happy by grabbing hips and ass during the course of the night.
Guests were instructed to not talk about Michael Jackson and The Boots Girls tried to get an interview with Joe, but that didn’t go over so well. He went into a rant about reporters.
“They always twist everything I say,” Jackson told us. “How do I know I can trust you – you look feisty!”
Calm down Joe. He did invite us to enjoy a Thanksgiving-style feast with him in a private room upstairs that consisted of rice, meatballs, potato salad and LOTS of chicken, naturally.
Jackson was quite the moody character – he went from jolly to snappy all night. When one guest called him the “birthday boy” he snapped: “I ain’t no boy. I am a man!”
And quite the old man at that. Even though his invites read that it was his 80th – he said he was 81 and other guests said he was even older than that.
“We have been celebrating his 80th birthday for the past few years now,” one guest exclaimed.
But by the looks of it – age has not slowed his sex drive down.
The only time Joe really seemed to perk up is when we told him we were going to strip down since it was so damn hot in that over-packed house. Joe had no objection to that.
Sorry Joe, we were just referring to taking off our jacket!
Poor Michael Jackson! Dude’s been dead for almost two months now and his body still hasn’t been laid to rest!
The King of Pop’s scheduled burial for Aug. 29, which would have marked his 51st birthday, has now been postponed by two days, says MJ’s psycho dad, Joe Jackson.
“There are things the family needs to get in order before Michael is laid to rest,” Joe told TMZ.com.
How much more time do these folks need?! You know Michael’s in heaven saying bury my ass already!
Jackson will likely be buried on Aug. 31 if all goes as planned, but don’t hold your breath on that one!
Joe’s holding onto that body for dear life. He’s worried that he won’t get anymore press once his son’s body is laid to rest!
An official plan for Michael Jackson’s burial has been announced.
The King of Pop will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, Calif. on Aug. 29, which happens to fall on what would’ve been his 51st birthday.
Jacko will be buried on the Holly Terrace at the cemetery’s Great Mausoleum. Guests will include family and close friends only.
This sounds way too normal for a character who was so strange in life. It would be way more appropriate to cryogenically freeze him like Walt Disney or Austin Powers for research purposes!
