In March, Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman was diagnosed with cancer, but chose to keep the news a secret until he finished filming the show.
Fortunately, three weeks ago, Goodman had surgery to remove the cancerous tumor in his prostate gland, U.K.’s reports.
“I have had the surgery now,” Goodman admitted after keeping it from his colleagues. “Everything is gorgeously good. I will be back in September for sure.”
Additionally, Goodman credited his quick recovery to doctors catching the disease early at his annual check-up.
The operation, done in London, was kept secret from everyone except close family and friends because he felt it was “not necessary to blabber it out to everyone.”
He also said that he feared the producers of his other show, BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing might not want a “cancer-riddled, bed-ridden old so-and-so” working for the network.
“I could have said ’sorry’ and not done the show, but the doctors felt I wasn’t riddled with it and it wasn’t so far advanced that it was a life-or-death scenario,” he said. “It takes a few weeks to get everything set up for the operation anyway, so I went ahead and did the show. I had the surgery done as soon as I got back from America.”
And the great news is that he’s feeling better already!
“I feel good,” he said. “I was obviously worried at the start. We all worry if we get something like this. You do feel a bit vulnerable, but as long as you come out the other side all right, why worry? You’re a bit sore for a while and you can’t play golf, which is the biggest blow at the moment. But I will be able to in a month’s time or so, I can’t wait.”

While visiting a hilltop shrine in Kyoto last week, Leonardo DiCaprio encountered a few fans and made the mistake of denying them a photo.
The fans asked the star to pose for a picture, but he turned them away by pointing to a sign prohibiting photography on the premises, according to the New York Post.
The pissed off fans waited until DiCaprio took off his Nike Dunks to enter the temple — and then snatched them!
“The poor guy had to leave the place barefoot,” a source said.
Poor guy? Honestly, how long would it have taken to pose for one picture? Some celebs seriously need to get off their high-horse because they wouldn’t be anything without their fans.
Kendra Wilkinson officially said goodbye to her days of flashing her chest 24/7, as she wed NFL player Hank Baskett over the weekend!
The couple married Saturday at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, Wilkinson’s rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com.
“”I’m ready to marry the man of my dreams,” she told Us shortly before tying the knot. “He’s one in a million. I’m so lucky.”

Janet Jackson thanked fans for all their support since the death of her brother Michael Jackson Sunday night at the BET Awards.
“My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful so they elected me to speak with all of you,” she said on stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
“I would just like to say that to you, Michael is an icon,” she continued. “To us, Michael is family, and he will forever live in all of our hearts.
“On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all your love; thank you for all your support.”
She concluded with her voice trembling, “We miss him so much.”

Scott Caan, who appeared to be a bit hazy, hit up Chicago last night to showcase his romantic, independent film Mercy at the Gen Art Film Festival.
Caan, who acted, produced, and wrote for Mercy tells the story of a young womanizing novelist who doesn’t believe in love, yet finds himself writing about it. Joining Caan onscreen include the talents of Wendy Glenn, Troy Garity, Erika Christensen, Alexie Gilmore, John Boyd, Dylan McDermott and legendary actor James Caan.
The Boots Girls had the opportunity to chat with Caan before the private screening of his film at AMC’s Piper’s Alley, and he proved to be quite the character!
Caan spoke briefly about being the son of an iconic actor and what it was like to the share the screen with his father for the very first time.
“It’s great. I mean I respect him, you know, as my father and as a great actor. So, I sort of separate the two, it’s good,” he told us.
Although James Caan didn’t appear until the end of the movie, and shared minimal screen time with is son, the scenes were extremely intense.
“It wasn’t easy, it was sort of difficult especially because of the subject matter of the movie,” he said about shooting with his father.
Caan walked the red carpet solo, and although he told us he’s a single man, we sensed some sexual tension between him and costar Wendy Glenn.
Not only were they seen bumping hips during the Q & A, but Caan interrupted our interview to comment on Miss Glenn’s attire!
“Look at Wendy’s dress, isn’t it gorgeous?”
Caan who told the audience that he tends to write women flawless because it’s his fantasy, expressed that “Nobody is flawless…well except for Wendy Glenn.”
Hmm, sounds to us like Scott has a crush! The second Glenn joined him on the red carpet he became flustered and seemed a bit out of it.
“Wendy gave me something and it made me high, I’m still goofy from before. We flew in and we took narcotics. I’m kidding, I’m kidding,” Caan joked.
God only knows what else these two have been doing together!
Caan is no stranger to the windy city as he spent lots of time here filming Ocean’s 11, 12, and 13 with Brad Pitt and George Clooney, who he speaks very highly of.
“I mean again, I sort of separate the two. They’re just really good guys and they’re fun to be around…and then, you sort of forget that they’re big movie stars because they’re just cool down to earth guys,” he told us about working with the high profiled actors.
Funny, down to earth guys? We can only imagine the trouble these three got into while filming in Chicago! We asked Scott to dish about the boys and any crazy stories about filming here but he decided to keep them on the DL by stating, “Yeah, but they’re X-rated!”
After the screening of Mercy (which is a definite must-see!) Scott cabbed it over to the official after party at the Theatro Lounge!
Country singer Taylor Swift admits she still burns pictures of her ex-boyfriends!
At a concert in Oshkosh, Wisc., Taylor thanked the crowd for teaching her that, “I’m not the only girl that still burns pictures of my ex!”
Uh, okay?! Pyscho!
Despite admiting she could be a little crazy, the crowd didn’t seem to care. The outside concert at country festival Country USA was packed as Taylor performed her love story songs, even adding a little Britney-esque performance by stripping out of a band uniform into a 50’s style flapper dress.
She rocked the stage for a little over an hour closing down the festival on the first night as the headliner. The festival runs until Sunday with Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Gretchen Wilson as the other headliners.
As police and medical examiners investigate the details behind Michael Jackson’s shocking death, his personal doctor is nowhere to be found!
Los Angeles police spokeswoman Karen Rayner has confirmed that police recently towed a BMW belonging to the doctor from Jackson’s home.
Police are desperately searching for the doctor in hopes that he’ll be able to answer questions regarding Jackson’s unexpected death.
“We have not been able to interview the doctor yet. His car was impounded because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death,” Rayner told The Associated Press.
Although she stressed that the doctor is not under criminal investigation, the coroner’s investigators wished to speak with him.
Jackson’s autopsy is underway, though the results won’t be final until toxicology tests can be completed, which could possibly take weeks.
Until then, people continue to speculate what caused the sudden death of the music icon.
Some reports are now indicating that Jackson may have overdosed on Demerol, but Jackson’s attorney Brian Oxman, told Usmagazine.com that he cannot comment on the medications his client may have been taking.
“It is something which is private to Michael, and we’ll have to wait for the toxicology reports before we jump to any kind of conclusions,” he said. “I only know that I warned that his day may come. And lo and behold, here we are.”
The City star Whitney Port admits she’s not ready for a relationship and just wants to have fun!
The 24-year-old fashionista, who went through a fairly public breakup on her MTV reality show back in March, says she’s learned a few things about living the single life.
“Just be open to all different possibilities and all different types,” she told Usmagazine.com at the Gen Art benefit in NYC Wednesday. “Try not to overanalyze things or put too much pressure on things because it’s just fun to meet a lot of people, to date around, to figure out what you really want and what really works for you.”
Port split from her Australian hottie of a boyfriend Jay Lyon on The City’s season finale right before he headed off on tour. It’s no question that she had trust issues with the rockstar.
We don’t blame her! The Boots Girls hung out with Lyon back in April and he was a total flirt! Girls instantly flocked to him and he didn’t seem bothered by it one bit!
Port tried her best to dodge questions regarding her former flame, but insinuated that they’re not on the best of terms.
“I’d never say we’re, like, not friends, but you know, the past is the past,” she revealed to Us.
When we spoke with Lyon in April, he hinted towards coming back to the show next season. Although he confirmed that he and Whitney are just friends right now, he didn’t deny the possibly of them hooking up again in the future!
Hmm, sounds like Whitney doesn’t see that in her future!
“I think in an ideal world, of course you want to stay friends with your exes. I mean, there was something there. There was a reason you liked each other in the first place! But you know, the world isn’t always perfect, and sometimes we have to let people go and move forward and sometimes you can’t do that if you’re still having a relationship — even if it’s just as friends.” she added.
The City returns to MTV this fall and we can’t wait to see what happens between Whitney and Jay!

Holy Sh*t Michael Jackson Died!

TMZ is reporting that Michael Jackson died today at the age of 50.
Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him, according to TMZ. Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.
Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
Billy Bob Thornton’s Daughter Indicted For Murder!

Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter Amanda Brumfield has been indicted on several charges in the death of a one-year-old girl.
The 29-year-old was booked at the Orange County Jail on Wednesday and faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated manslaughter of a child in the death of a one-year-old girl who she was babysitting in Florida, according to the Associated Press.
Brumfield told investigators that the girl acted normally after falling and hitting her head, but detectives found inconsistencies in the story and believe the girl died under Brumfield’s care, according to court records.
Billy Bob is estranged from his daughter and has had no contact from her for quite some time. We suggest that he keeps it that way - she sounds like a monster!
