Are Janet Jackson and former longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri on the verge of getting back together?
Uhh, not so much. Despite rumors of reconciliation, Jackson STILL referred to Dupri as her “ex” in a recent interview with Atlanta’s The Bert Show.
BF to BFF?!
“I’m not the type of girl that stays in touch with your ex like that,” Jackson said.
“Jermaine is one of my best friends,” she said in a sleepy voice. “I love him to death. We’re still connected. We’re still good friends. We still talk.”
We wonder why he’s an exception?! Dude couldn’t even make it to her brother’s funeral! That doesn’t sound like a true BFF to us!
“We’re there for one another,” Jackson said of Dupri. “I think it will remain that way for the rest of my life.”

Rumor has it that Janet Jackson has been rehearsing non-stop for a Michael Jackson tribute at the MTV Video Music Awards this weekend!
MJ’s sissy is set to put on a huge performance featuring 20 backup dancers, which were compiled from some of the best choreographers in the world, including Frank Gatson and Travis Payne, according to TMZ.com.
Janet and the dancers are really putting their all into this show! Some rehearsals have even lasted 15 hours a day, according to Kryiss Grant, one of the dancers.
“There won’t be a dry eye in the house,” Grant told TMZ.
Hmm, we wonder if this will REALLY happen?! Janet did make an appearance at the 2009 BET Awards to address the passing of MJ, but considering she’s stayed out of the public eye as much as possible it’s hard telling…
Janet Jackson grieved over her brother, Michael’s, death on Twitter Wednesday afternoon before attending his burial.
“I love you, Mike, and I miss you,” Janet Tweeted.
She signed off using the name “Dunk,” which was Michael’s nickname for her.
Janet and her whole family and friends - including several big name celebrities - attended Michael’s funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Glendale, Calif. on Thursday evening.

On Thursday night, producer and long time BF of Janet Jackson, Jermaine Dupri, spun a set at Chicago’s Underground.
It’s been rumored that Jermaine and Janet recently split after the deejay showed little remorse following the death of Michael Jackson, his almost brother-in-law. He was blatantly absent from the MJ memorial due to his scheduled deejay tour, in which he just couldn’t get away. Additionally, he claims he “doesn’t attend funerals.” To add to the controversy though, Jermiane seemed unsympathetic and completely recovered from the recent death and potential split as he played on Thursday screaming to the crowd, ”I came to this bitch to get f***ed up!”
Jermaine opened the night with Kid Cudi’sDay and Night and exclaimed, “What’s up Chi Town?! I came out here from the ATL to tear this mother f***er down!”
Everyone has different methods of mourning, but Jermaine doesn’t seem phased at all! While he played a great show, his demeanor seemed a little too hyped following all the recent events. Good luck with your tour Jermaine… and your relationship.
Janet Jackson thanked fans for all their support since the death of her brother Michael Jackson Sunday night at the BET Awards.
“My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful so they elected me to speak with all of you,” she said on stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
“I would just like to say that to you, Michael is an icon,” she continued. “To us, Michael is family, and he will forever live in all of our hearts.
“On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all your love; thank you for all your support.”
She concluded with her voice trembling, “We miss him so much.”
After she made her statement Jamie Foxx, Stevie Wonder and Ne-Yo performed the Jackson 5 song I’ll Be There in front of a screen playing a photo montage of the King of Pop.
The National Enquirer is reporting that Janet Jackson is furious about Beyonce’s recent rude remarks about her family and wants revenge!
“Beyonce’s remark came out of left field and really stung Janet,” a family insider told The National Enquirer.
So, here’s the remark that the insider is talking about. Honestly, it is pretty damn rude and presumptuous! “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation,” Beyonce said.
When Janet heard about the slam, “she blew up,” revealed the insider.
“Yes, Janet and the Jackson family came from Gary, Indiana, and there was a time they barely squeaked by. But Janet has many loving memories and is incensed that Beyonce would make a crack like that. Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family. They’re not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she’s from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats. Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she’s planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act,” the insider said.

Not only has Janet Jackson been canceling her recent concerts because of “exhaustion”, but there may be problems in her personal life to blame as well.
According to MediaTakeout.com, Jackson’s management team blames Dupri for many of her failures and told him, “You’re not her boyfriend anymore.”
Who knows how much of this is true, but I can see how they’d at least be on the rocks since Dupri threw up on her lap after drinking too much at his his birthday party in NYC.
Janet Jackson, who was scheduled to perform in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday, has postponed that and another concert due to illness, her rep said in a statement on Tuesday.
Jackson was due to perform in Montreal on Monday but canceled the gig after she “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time. Her rep hasn’t elaborated on her mystery illness.
For now, her Rock Witchu Tour will resume in Greensboro, North Carolina on October 4.

Janet Jackson has been released from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal after being treated for “exhaustion”, according to a hospital rep.
“Yesterday evening she was checked into the Royal Victoria Hospital and left a couple of hours later,” spokeswoman for the McGill University Health Centre Rebecca Burns told People.
Jackson cancelled her show in Montreal Monday night and went to the local hospital after she “got suddenly ill” during her sound check.
Jackson has complained of exhaustion. “A 42-year-old body can’t handle what a 22-year-old body can,” according to a source. “I can tell you that she’s definitely tired. It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn’t the same as it used to be.”
That explains why she chose to skip out on boyfriend Jermaine Dupri’s 36th birthday party last week in Chicago after her concert here.

Jackson looks a little slimmer here than she did last week when she was out and about in Milan. We don’t understand how she gains and loses weight so fast and drastically. It can’t be healthy!
She better start laying off of the French pastries soon if she wants to be in tip top shape for her Rock With U tour, which kicks off this September. However, regardless we have no doubt she’ll be back to a twig by then!
