On Thursday, hip-hop web site Media Take Out reported that the couple were expecting their first child together, crediting a “rock solid source,” claiming that Beyonce was “fine and resting now.”
As usual, the web site’s story was complete BS and girl is not preggers!
A publicist from Beyonce’s record company Sony tells Rolling Stone that the report is “untrue.”
While the two married in April 2008 it doesn’t look like Beyonce is ready to be popping out any babies just yet.
Who’s leading in Grammy nominations? Taylor Swift and Beyonce… surprise surprise!
One would think after winning almost every top music award this year, the country gal wouldn’t be surprised over her eight Grammy nominations, but she’s flippin’ ecstatic!
“I started freaking out and jumping up and down,” Swift told the Associated Press Wednesday night, after the announcements were made in L.A.
“I honestly never would have predicted this, eight nominations,” she said. “I’m ecstatic, and blown away and so so thankful.”
The 19-year-old singer is nominated for not only album of the year for her sophomore CD Fearless but also song and record of the year, in addition to others!
Although she has been nominated for a Grammy in the past, Swift said that winning one “is something that you daydream about.”
We think it’s safe to say that she’ll be walking away with at least one award! Girl better be thanking Kayne West in her acceptance speech because Lord knows if he didn’t act a fool that night she’d never have this recognition!
Beyonce Knowles, one of the 109 nominees, tops this year’s show with a whooping ten nominations.
B AKA Sasha Fierce is in the running for album of the year for her double CD, I Am … Sasha Fierce and has also been nominated twice for song of the year for hit singles Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) and Halo… as well as many others!
In addition to the two leading ladies, other nominees include: Kanye West with six nominations, Lady Gaga for her debut album Fame with five nominations, The Black Eyed Peas for The E.ND., and Dave Matthews Band for Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King!
Beyonce Knowles is FINALLY speaking out about Kanye West’s outburst at the 2009 VMAs when he rushed the stage to announce that she should’ve won Best Female Video over cute country gal Taylor Swift!
This is so last month! Wonder why B is breaking her silence now? Oh yeah, probably to avoid answering questions regarding Papa Knowles’ affair with a 30-year-old who’s apparently pregnant with his baby!
“Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like, ‘You have this award,’” Beyonce told O magazine editor Gayle King (via MTV News) at the Billboard Awards over the weekend, when she was named Woman of the Year.
Girl certainly thinks highly of herself! We love Beyonce, but way to indirectly throw another dig at Taylor!
“When they didn’t call my name, he was, like, completely shocked,” she says. “And when he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’”
Wasn’t she sitting in the front row? She should’ve grabbed his drunk-ass as he walked by then!
Beyonce justified the whole incident by saying, “”But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment — and I didn’t have to make an acceptance speech.”
We don’t care if Michael freakin’ Jackson deserved to to win the award… you just don’t do that kind of shit! It’s called CLASS and RESPECT. Two things Kanye is seriously lacking.
Everyone expected Janet Jackson’s tribute to the King of Pop to be the most talked about Video Music Awards moment of 2009, but of course cocky ass Kanye West had to create attention for himself!
In case you missed it, Kanye rudely interrupted Taylor Swift’s Best Female Video acceptance speech to say that Beyonce deserved to win…totally ruining Taylor’s moment!
Swift took time to address the conflicting moment with reporters after the show.
“Well, I was standing on stage because I was really excited because I had just won the award,” she began. “And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t so excited anymore after that.”
Kanye should’ve felt like an idiot because almost everyone in Radio City Music Hall booed his dumbass!
Swift said celebs reached out to her backstage after the incident. In fact, some even took to their Twitter. “Kanye west is the biggest piece of s*** on earth. Quote me,” Pink Tweeted moments after the incident occurred.
“I’ve been getting so many text messages and everybody’s been really nice. So I’ve had a really, really fun night. It’s been interesting definitely. It’s definitely been an interesting night,” Swift continued.
After winning Video of the Year, Beyonce invited Taylor onstage to let her have a proper VMA moment! Truly a class act right there!
“They told me to stand by the side of the stage, and I didn’t really know what was going to go down,” Swift said. “But I thought it was so wonderful and gracious of her to do what she’s always done. She’s always been a great person before anything else. Before the talented artist, the superstar, she’s always been a great person and I just, I thought I couldn’t love Beyonce more tonight, than tonight.”
As talented as he is, Kanye is probably one of the biggest assholes in the music industry. We would’ve escorted his ass out of Radio City if we were MTV! P.S., MJ would not have been proud!
Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson did her first interview since her family members were murdered this morning on The Oprah Winfrey Show and the upbeat singer told Oprah that she is doing well and she’s happy to be back to work.
O asked the once American Idol contestant about singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and winning an Oscar but she respectfully didn’t touch on the Hudson family murders.
When asked about her experience singing the National Anthem, Hudson replied, “There was so much going on. I just zoned out.”
And those high notes? Ever wonder if J-Hud struggles with them?
“To me the biggest notes are the easiest because I know I’m at the end of it and its over and I can go home.”
Hudson also took home the Grammy for Best R&B album and it was presented to her by none other than icon Whitney Houston.
“That’s when I lost it”, J-Hud describes about seeing Whitney presenting the award. “Having her present me with the award was almost better than winning the actual Grammy.”
And fitting that Hudson won a Grammy to finally to keep her Oscar company.
“I have an Oscar and a Grammy and keep them in my piano room. My Oscar is next to a picture of my dog Oscar and my Grammy is next to a picture of Whitney and Beyonce.”
In the interview, that O kept short and sweet, Jennifer barely touched on her personal life but when asked how she was doing, she coyly responded, “I’m good”.
She added, “I’m glad to be back to doing what I love. I just pray every morning.”
Well Jennifer, we’re glad you’re back too and we can’t wait to see your show in March.
As we just reported, Beyonce will be singing for Barack and Michelle Obama’s first dance at Tuesday’s presidential inauguration and the song she is to sing was supposed to be kept under wraps, well the secret is out.
“To sing At Last while they have their first dance is a dream come true,” she says. “I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history.”
President elect Barack Obama and wife Michelle are putting on their dancing shoes for Tuesday’s presidential inauguration, and they’re first dance will be to none other than Beyonce.
So what will B sing for the new President?
The Presidential Inaugural Committee won’t say.
“It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment,” spokeswoman Linda Douglass told the Associated Press.
Wow, what an honor for Beyonce, let’s hope she picks a good song. The pressure is on and we can’t wait to hear her final choice.
The National Enquirer is reporting that Janet Jackson is furious about Beyonce’s recent rude remarks about her family and wants revenge!
“Beyonce’s remark came out of left field and really stung Janet,” a family insider told The National Enquirer.
So, here’s the remark that the insider is talking about. Honestly, it is pretty damn rude and presumptuous! “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation,” Beyonce said.
When Janet heard about the slam, “she blew up,” revealed the insider.
“Yes, Janet and the Jackson family came from Gary, Indiana, and there was a time they barely squeaked by. But Janet has many loving memories and is incensed that Beyonce would make a crack like that. Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family. They’re not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she’s from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats. Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she’s planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act,” the insider said.
Wow, this “insider” sure is mad! Janet and Beyonce are both tough b*tches! Who do you think would win in a fight? I call Janet!
Gabrielle Union responded to “blog rumors” that started here on Chelsea Lately last night about “outing” Beyonce’s real age.
Union told us in a recent interview that she’s been friends with Beyonce since “they were teenagers”. On the show she clarified what she meant and said she’s been friends with Beyonce since “she was a teenager” and she was in her twenties.
Gabrielle also said the blogs said, “I outed Beyonce for being 35 — like that’s terrible!”
That’s not the point. It’s not “terrible” to be 35, the point is that B’s lying!
We still think this is fishy. If you befriend someone when you’re in your twenties, you don’t say that you’ve known that person since “we were teenagers”!
