Michelle Rodriguez checked herself into Lynwood Jail today where she will begin her 180 day sentence after she was found to have violated her probation on more than one occassion.

Most Hollywood starlets who have served time this year have been released exceptionally early, but Santa’s not visiting Rodriguez this year. The judge made a point to say that she would NOT be let out early.

Nicolas Cage’s “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” opened as the weekend’s No. 1 movie raking in $45.5 million according to studio estimates Sunday.

This means the “National Treasure” sequel faired better than the original, which made only $35.1 million on its debut weekend, and eventually earned $173 million total.

Recording artist Josh Kelley and “Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl tied the knot last night at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah.

OK! reported that it was a small, intimate wedding with celeb guest such as “Grey’s Anatomy” co-stars Sandra Oh, Justin Chambers, Kate Walsh, and T.R. Knight who served as a groomsman for Kelley.

As the guests arrived at the wedding they were given gift baskets of Christmas cookies and then later they dined on a traditional Christmas dinner at the reception.

The two met in 2005 on the set of Kelley’s music video “Only You” in which Heigl starred. Check out where it all began!

Extra.com reported that although Lynne Spears’ parenting book was postponed, the publishers announced today that Spears is still moving forward with the book.

Thomas Nelson, Inc. is insisting that the book is not a manual on how to parent: It’s a warning!

“From the onset, the media have inaccurately reported that Lynne Spears’ book is a parenting book. I’m sure this helps fuel tabloid readership, but it’s simply not true,” said Michael S. Hyatt, president and CEO of Thomas Nelson.

“Lynne’s memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the toll it extracts from some who aspire to it. It will provide a much-needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities.”

It turns out that Casey Aldridge is only 18-years-old, not 19 like we first thought. With rumors swirling of a statutory rape charge against Aldridge for his sexual relations with Jamie Lynn Spears everyone’s been wondering what will happen.

Spears’ birthday is April 4, 1991 and Aldridges is April 29, 1989. This means that the parents to be do not meet the two year age difference that is the cutoff for prosecution under Louisiana law. Safe!

Not so fast..under California law it IS a misdemeanor and can result in up to one year in jail.

So the big question is: Did the teens ever shag in California???

Nick Lachey’s choir beat out four other choirs last night during the live finale of “Clash of the Choirs” and was named the winner. As a result, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center will be getting the $250,000 prize.

“I’ve been blown away by my choir’s poise. It’s made up of amateur singers. They’ve never done this before,” Lachey said on the show.

Congrats Team Cincinnati!

Don’t feel too bad for the losing choirs. The show surprised them with a $50,000 donation from GE to each of their charities as well.
