Sugar, they’re going down! Looks like Chicago based group Fall Out Boy will be parting ways!

Known for their pop/emo/rock sound, Fall Out Boy was one of the first groups since Blink 182 to break into the pop scene. With nude picture scandals, a string of top ten hits and spawns including Gym Class Heroes and Tiga, the group has done it all.

When the FOB’s last CD hit shelves in 2009, many fans questioned if it would be the last they heard from the group, but the rumors were quickly put to rest by the boys themselves.

Fans shouldn’t have bought any of the bullshit that came out of their mouths because lead singer Patrick Stump has now confirmed an indefinite break.

“Whether we play again or not, I don’t know. If we do, it will be for the right reasons. If we don’t, it will also be for the right reasons,” Stump confessed in a interview with Spin.com.

Many fans blame Pete Wentz’s personal life overshadowing the group in the past few years, while others blame the Simpson curse! Wentz famously wed Ashlee Simpson and since then, fans say the group has been in a downfall.

Well whichever reason you believe, the group is dunzo for now. Damn Simpsons!
