The Jolie-Pitts much anticipated arrival in Chicago is FINALLY over! Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, all their kids and even Brad Pitt’s mom, Jane, arrived in Chicago yesterday afternoon.

The clan landed in a private jet at Million Air charter at Midway airport and took 3 SUVs (one solely for their luggage) to their posh downtown hotel.

Note: There have been several FALSE reports claiming that Angelina Jolie arrived on Sunday night in Chicago and went to the Signature Room for dinner. It’s a rumor!!! No one at the restaurant can confirm she went there including the restuarant’s publicist.

Jane spent about an hour with her grandchildren, son and Jolie before leaving their hotel today.

Ironically, exactly two years ago to the WEEK, Jane was in Chicago visiting her soon-to-be ex-daughter-in-law Jennifer Aniston. Aniston was here filming “The Break-Up” with Vince Vaughn at the time. Yours truly snapped this photo of Aniston with Jane sightseeing at the John Hancock building. Around the time I took this photo, Aniston told “Vanity Fair” Pitt was missing a “sensitivity chip”. Pitt had already been rumored to be with Jolie then and he had recently done a photo shoot with Jolie for “W” magazine depicting him and her as a happy married couple with children.
