Rihanna Appears In Court After Chris Brown Receives 5 Years Probation

Rihanna attended a hearing in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday where Chris Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault for beating her.
The singer received five years probation and will spend 180 days doing community labor in Virginia as part of a plea bargain, according to Usmagazine.com. During his probation, he must also obey a protective order, which means he cannot harm or harrass Rihanna, and a stay-away order requiring him to stay at least 50 yards away from his ex-girlfriend at all times
Rihanna did not have to testify, but appeared after Brown left the courtroom. Rihanna and her lawyer, Donald Etra, discussed the terms of the protective order with Judge Patricia Schnegg. Schnegg said since the two may have to be at the same industry events, in those situations the 50-yard stay away order would turn into a 10-yard order.
Schnegg also said that the two-way order means Rihanna is not allowed to contact Brown at any point as well. Etra told Schnegg several times that was not necessary, but Schnegg said she wanted to be cautious.
That’s a clear sign that Rihanna is not over Chris. If she was, she would not have her lawyer tell the judge several times that the two-way wasn’t necessary. This is good news for RiRi - the judge is clearly looking out for her best interest whether she realizes it or not!

Douchebag should be doing jail time. If it was any other normal person, they would be. It’s ridic how celebs get treated differently.

Seriously Rihanna! Why would you even want or need to contact him. It’s true… girls never get over bad boys.
