When Wedding Crashers star Vince Vaughn met his fiance, Kyla Weber, the small-town-gal was already in a relationship — of four years!

Vince and Kyla met at a wedding in L.A. last summer, and apparently it was love at first sight.

“Kyla had been dating a guy in her small hometown of Okotoks, in Alberta, for close to four years when she met Vince early last summer,” a source told Star.

“She’d gone to L.A. for the wedding of a friend, who was marrying a producer — and Vince was there because he’s pals with the groom. They obviously hit it off tremendously, because Kyla broke up with her boyfriend a week after she returned home!”

Vince hits on girls in every city. Guess he just lucked out this time!

Since the wedding, Kyla has moved to L.A. where Vince proposed.

“They spent a romantic weekend together. He dropped to one knee to propose and presented her with a gorgeous $125,000 4-carat diamond set in platinum,” the source told Star. “They’ll have their wedding either in L.A. or Alberta, and they’re both ready to start a family immediately!”

We reported the engagement HERE FIRST, even though Vaughn’s rep could “not get a hold” of him to confirm. However, today Weber’s dad is finally confirming the engagement to the Montreal Gazette yet declined to give further details.

“She’s so happy and excited! They clicked from the beginning,” a pal recently told Usmagazine.com of the couple. “Kyla never mentions Jennifer Aniston [Vaughn's famous ex].”

We think it’s hysterical that this alleged pal managed to get the Jennifer Aniston jab in there. Jen’s probably livid that she missed out on another proposal.

Hang in there Jen, it’s bound to happen eventually! Right?
