Just two weeks after his wife filed for divorce, Mel Gibson made a rare public appearance with his new girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva last night at the L.A. industry screening for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

“Mel has been single for almost three years and it’s nice to see him getting out and enjoying himself,” his rep told People.

The couple held hands and walked the red carpet before taking a seat inside the screening at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

“They came in quietly and as under the radar as they could and they were pretty low-key,” says a source. “Mel seemed very comfortable.”

Fox Chairman James Gianopoulos and Wolverine producers Richard and Lauren Donner and Hugh Jackman extended the invitation to Gibson.

Jackman even told the audience that he got inspiration for his character from Gibson’s role as Mad Max.

A string of Hollywood’s high profile leading ladies have popped up at different Britney Spears shows during her US tour and her Chicago show Tuesday night was no exception.

Taylor Swift flew to the Windy City to see the pop star rock out at her circus-themed concert at the AllState Arena.

Several eyewitness tell The Boots Girls the country star was spotted singing to several of Spears’ hits and she even Tweet Tweeted about it.

“Just finished singing along to ‘every time’,” Swift Twittered dat. “That was so beautiful.”

(Yes, it is quite a beautiful song Taylor!)

After the show, Spears headed straight back to her downtown hotel with a two car police escort with the sirens blaring, according to an eyewitness.

Spears’ vehicle headed straight into the garage of her swank hotel and Swift headed to a different swank hotel a few blocks away.

Spears didn’t greet any fans or sign autographs. Sigh. But there’s always tomorrow.

OctoDad Jon Gosselin from TLC’s hit show Jon & Kate Plus 8 has been busted misbehaving yet again!

The reality-TV pop was busted leaving a Pennsylvania nightclub with a mystery woman without his wedding band while his wife, Kate, was out of town at a book signing, according to the new issue of Us Weekly.

The dad of eight was overheard yelling, “Hey, babe! Babe! Give me my jacket!” before climbing into his Nissan Nismo with his mystery date. When the paparazzi showed up he panicked, urging his female friend to “get in the car!” before speeding off.

Gosselin denies any wrongdoing and said this in a statement to Us:

“I went to Legends to speak to the owner. A friend of mine wanted to check out my car, so I let her drive it to her car. Yes, I have female friends — but that is all she is. I’m not going to end my friendships just because I’m on TV.”

The moral of the story is - whether you’re Jon & Kate Plus 8 or the nasty OctoMom - clearly nothing good can come out of raising eight rugrats!

MTV announced Tuesday that Lauren Conrad will not return to the upcoming fall season of The Hills!

All the other usual suspects - including Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, Spencer Pratt, Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Lo Bosworth, Justin Bobby and some new characters - will be back.

“Spencer and Heidi will be newlyweds, so the stakes are higher than ever before for the two to make things work,” an MTV statement read. “Viewers will find out life in Los Angeles only gets more complicated as friendships, relationships and loyalties are tested like never before.”

Conrad has reportedly wanted out for a while so the big question is wtf is she going to do now? Her designer clothing line totally flopped and now she’s trying to push a cheaper one in Kohl’s department stores.

Something tells us LC won’t be gone for long - she’ll miss her fame and fortune as every celeb does who attempts to drop out of the limelight!

The actress dropped the F-bomb several times during a speech honoring Tom Hanks at a Film Society of Lincoln Center event Monday night in New York City.

“Alright well, it’s late and I’m paying my babysitter overtime and I have to pee,” Roberts began according to Usmagazine.com. “So Tom, everybody f*cking likes you. All my bits are gone. Listen, I had lunch today with Rita [Wilson, Hanks' wife], and her tits were here [motioned high] and her waist was here [motioned small] and her ass was like that [motioned high], so what can I tell you that’s new? Tom Hanks, what the f*ck?”

She then went on to talk about Hanks’ hair in LadyKillers.

“I love the Cohen brothers, but the hair Tom [in Ladykillers], I didn’t even know what the f*ck that movie was about!”

At the end of her little rant, she talked about how she’s wearing the same dress as Hanks’ publicist: “God, I’m wearing the same f*cking dress tonight as your publicist!”

Kate Walsh has requested a protective order against ex-husband Alex Young.

The accounting firm London & Co. has filed an order against Alex, which claims he is harassing them for details regarding the couple’s finances, according to Extratv.com.

However, the firm states that they have given Alex the information he’s requested.

Simon Cowell admitted he may have spoken a little too soon about leaving American Idol.

“I hinted at leaving and then people started asking me questions,” Cowell said in an interview with ETOnline.com. “If you asked FOX, they would say the same thing. We always said there would be a finite time.”

He goes on to say that these have been the best eight years of his life, but you get to a point when you need a change. He also clarifies that it has nothing to do with his relationship with FOX.

In other questions Cowell discusses this season’s finale, and states he would, “put my money on Adam and Danny…It is going to be Adam and somebody.”
