A year after the sudden death of Heath Ledger, good friend and fellow actor, Naomi Watts is still grieving.

“I hadn’t really been that familiar with his work,” Watts recalls in this weekend’s Parade. “Then, when I got to the set and did that first scene with him, I was like, ‘Wow! This guy is alive.’

Watts also goes on to say she fell in love with him in 2002 while shooting the drama Ned Kelly.

“It was just something deep in his eyes. You could look into them, and they would tell a thousand stories in one glance,” she says. “There was a wonderful mixture of power and fragility at work in everything he did, which just pulls you in.”

She continues, “His strength didn’t scare you. It intrigued you. And his fragility touched you.”

Though the on-and-off pair officially split in 2004, she says they always kept in touch up until his death.

“It’s still incredibly difficult,” Watts says.

Watts has two children with current beau Liev Schreiber but we can’t help but wonder if she’d be with Heath if he were still alive.

As if the American version of the MTV show Paris Hilton’s My New BFF wasn’t bad enough, she’s now doing a British version.

On the British morning show GMTV, she talked about her new show Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend and insisted that she’s not stupid.

She said that she played up the dumb blonde role for her reality show The Simple Life. Wait, wasn’t that supposed to be a reality show?

“For five seasons I was stuck doing this character,” she says of her character on show. “It was kind of hard always having to play that character when it’s not who I am.”

She also said, “I just say jokes but they think I’m serious, which I think is funny, and I think I kind of play up the image sometimes because – whatever – it’s just entertainment.”

I don’t know if I believe that the dumb blonde thing is just an act! Sounds like she’s just in denial!

Rumors recently surfaced that Patrick Swayze has decided to stop his treatment for pancreatic cancer.

But according to his rep, it’s not true. “The reports are not true. Patrick is continuing his treatment,” Annett Wolf told People.com.

The actor is determined to fight cancer and recently told People magazine, “I am alive and plan on continuing to stay that way.”

We feel awful for Patrick and can’t imagine what it must be like to be so sick and under constant public scrutiny, but we share in his optimism and wish him all the best!

After taking months to mourn the deaths of her mother, brother and nephew, Jennifer Hudson is finally getting back to work.

Hudson has filmed a video for her new single, “If It Isn’t Love”, which was originally set to shoot late last year, but it was postponed due to the tragic events.

“The video was set up before the tragedy and she felt like she should finish what she started, but she’s realized that she’s not ready to go back to work,” a source told Usmagazine.com.

Jennifer is also set to sing the National Anthem at Sunday’s Super Bowl and we can’t wait to see her performance.

We’re glad to see Hudson back doing what she loves, but can’t imagine the pain she must go through everyday. Our hearts go out to her.

The host of daytime talk show, The View, announced on this mornings show that they’re expecting yet again and the new bundle of joy should make an anticipated arrival in August.

“We were thoroughly happy with the surprise of it,” she said. “I didn’t even know for two months — I was walking around — I thought I had — I kept saying, ‘Electionitis, electionitis.’

Hasselbeck goes on to say that she felt sick while attending the inauguration earlier this month.

“I was tired, I was nauseous, I thought I was worn out from the whole procedure,” she went on. “No. I was knocked up and didn’t realize it.”

The couple has two young children and if you ask us it seems that Hasselbeck is always preggers.

Slumdog Millionaire star Frieda Pinto says that Angelina Jolie gave her some good advice when they talked at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

“I didn’t say much. I was just like staring in awe for a bit…She was really wonderful to talk to and very supportive of newcomers…She’s just like, ‘Embrace it. Enjoy it and keep it real. Don’t get affected by all this. Enjoy every moment.’”

Jolie is a great person to mentor an up and coming star such as Pinto. I can’t think of another actress who keeps it more real and does not get affected by the drama that goes with the territory of being a celebrity!

Jennifer Aniston reveals her biggets dating regret and it wasn’t letting Brad Pitt go.

“Never order a cherry tomato!” she told MTV News to promote He’s Just Not That Into You. “I was on a date with this guy … there was a cherry tomato and he bit into it and it was all over my white dress. So that was just one side note. No cherry tomatoes!”

Aniston goes on to talk about how it’s difficult to date in the limelight.

“It’s not fun,” says the star. “You could end the date and shake hands with them and realize it doesn’t work, and all of a sudden you’re a new couple.”

In the new issue of Star, there’s a report that just hours after Jess flew out of Burbank airport on Jan. 16, her boyfriend decided to host a party at her house! Not only that, but the quarterback also hooked up with a beautiful brunette.

After Simpson left town, Tony hit an invitation-only opening of Los Angeles hot-spot My House with Laguna Beach’s Stephen Colletti and Entourage star Kevin Connolly. After the event, Romo threw the after-party at the two-story country cottage-style home off Coldwater Canyon in Beverly Hills that he claimed was “my place”.

It soon became obvious to the late-night party-goers that it was his girlfriend’s phat pad.

“Everyone was talking about it downstairs,” the source said. “The girls were saying it was so wrong and shady of Tony to cheat on Jessica — especially in her place! I just can’t believe he would hook up with another woman at his own girlfriend’s house.”

Poor Jess! This doesn’t surprise us. Romo acted up like this when he was in Chicago for a boys weekend last year!
