Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber’s 21-month-old son was briefly hospitalized.

Their son, Alexander, spent the night in the hospital for respiratory issues Tuesday night, according to ETOnline.com.

It scared his father so bad that Schreiber flew immediately from Los Angeles to New York while promoting his new film X-Men Origins:Wolverine.

Alexander is now at home and feeling better. Any child who displays illness symptoms during this swine flu epidemic is enough to jolt any parent!

We’re glad the little tot is back home and feeling better.

A year after the sudden death of Heath Ledger, good friend and fellow actor, Naomi Watts is still grieving.

“I hadn’t really been that familiar with his work,” Watts recalls in this weekend’s Parade. “Then, when I got to the set and did that first scene with him, I was like, ‘Wow! This guy is alive.’

Watts also goes on to say she fell in love with him in 2002 while shooting the drama Ned Kelly.

“It was just something deep in his eyes. You could look into them, and they would tell a thousand stories in one glance,” she says. “There was a wonderful mixture of power and fragility at work in everything he did, which just pulls you in.”

She continues, “His strength didn’t scare you. It intrigued you. And his fragility touched you.”

Though the on-and-off pair officially split in 2004, she says they always kept in touch up until his death.

“It’s still incredibly difficult,” Watts says.

Watts has two children with current beau Liev Schreiber but we can’t help but wonder if she’d be with Heath if he were still alive.

 

 

The baby making in Hollywood continues, and this time it’s Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber who welcomed a new baby boy to the world. 

 ”I can confirm Naomi and Liev had a baby boy yesterday,” said the actress’s rep. 

This is the second baby boy for Naomi and Liev who have been dating since 2005.
