Maris and I have been dying to meet fellow University of Iowa alum Tom Arnold! Especially since we found out that one night in college we were at the same bar as him the same night (actually sitting in the booth right next to his!), but too drunk to notice. So any who, we bonded about Iowa with Tommy baby in the lobby of the Mondrian Hotel last night. He was floored at the fact that he just met two people who are bigger spazzes than him!

Greetings from Hollywood. Okay, ummmm, are you kidding me? My BFF Marisa Sullivan and I met the naked guy from Borat last night at the L.A. Confidential party at Sky Bar. Ahhhh, ha, ha, ha!!!! LOL! I am obsessed! I literally chased him down and said: “Wait stop!!! Aren’t you the naked guy from Borat???” (As you can see I am attacking the poor guy in the photo! Ha!) And then I proceeded to recite every line from Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. In America women have the right to choose who they sleep with. WHAT?????? This is not good for me!!! Anyway, Ken Davitian a.ka. Azmat Bagatov was really cool. We had a great time with him! That is…until his wife pulled him away from Marisa and I!

Finally Britney’s family stepped up to the plate.  Lynne Spears dropped her off at Promises rehab center last evening. Let’s hope she stays this time!

 

  Marcia Cross had twin girls Tuesday named Eden and Savannah. Awwwww!

Jessica Simpson left Chicago yesterday afternoon without her beau John Mayer. Mayer stayed behind and shopped at Urban Outfitters shortly after she left. We’ll miss Jessica! I must say I initially thought Jess and John were an odd match, but now that I’ve seen them together I changed my mind. They seemed super happy together and very into each other. They were all smiles the whole time they were in town. Not to mention, super friendly and patient (tolerant may be a better word…) with all of their Chicago fans. I hope this pair sticks together. They make a great couple! Mayer leaves Chicago later today and has a show in Michigan tonight.

I want to say that this has been one crazy day for me. I can’t believe all the responses to Perez Hilton’s site over the pics that he posted of myself with Jessica Simpson and John Mayer. I have received calls from people all over. I am thankful Perez has now made me a celebrity diva; even though he blatantly stole the photos. I hope everyone will keep checking the Boots site to read more about our adventures with celebrities in Chicago. Meeting Jessica and John was amazing; they were really nice down-to-earth people.

I also want to thank my friends who posted supportive comments on Perez’s site. I wouldn’t have the confidence to be Victoria without their encouragement. You know who you are and I love you all!

Penelope Cruz attended the Global Green USA pre-Oscar bash last night in Hollywood. Cruz looked stunning on the red carpet, but where’s Bruce Willis at? I guess wannabe matchmakers Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore should keep their day jobs. (Read yesterday’s post!)

Today is Boots Girl Courtney’s birthday!!! Here is a pic of Courtney and her dog Bentley, which ran in the Chicago Sun-Times. Her one and only claim to fame! Yes I love mortifying my fellow Boots Girls!!! Happy B-day Court!!! XOXO

So we stalked Jess today while she was shopping in the Gold Coast. We told her about the site and she said: “I love the name!” Woo hoo! (What’s up with John’s eyes? Annoyed? Come on John! It’s only about the 50th picture Victoria has asked you to take with her in the past 24 hours!!!)

Uhhhhhhhh so apparently, unbeknownst to me, Victoria called Simpson’s assistant’s hotel room last night to see if Simpson had checked the blog yet.
