Carrie Underwood just got engaged to Mike Fisher, and her ex, Gossip Girl’sChace Crawford, has no hard feelings!
At Sunday night’s Golden Globes, Usmagazine.com asked Chace if he had well wishes for the happy couple. He quickly exclaimed, “Absolutely! I wish her the best.”
Actually, it was Chace who dumped Carrie back in 2008 via text message!
“It was completely mutual,” she told Extra following the break up. “We’re both fine…We broke up over text so… It’s like ‘peace out.’”
Looks like it didn’t take too long for Carrie to recover though. She, and Ottawa Senators center were engaged last December, but have yet to set a date for their pending nuptials.
“Our schedules don’t provide us too much time to get married and have time to really enjoy being married,” she said. “We’re trying to really work it out and move some stuff around.”
Congrats to the happy couple! And don’t worry Chace, you’ll find your own gossip girl one day…
Although pep talks typically come before an event, Chace Crawford decided to have a post-pep chat with Taylor Swift the day after she was ambushed by the obnoxious Kanye West.
At the Kings of Leon concert in NYC Monday night, Crawford spotted Swift and gave her a huge hug, a source tells Usmagazine.com.
Um, can Kanye yell at us too please so we can get a huge hug from Chace?!!!
“I’m so proud of you,” he told Swift. “Don’t let anyone ever take your spotlight ever again.”
Swift thanked Crawford, who, the source claims, is “like an older brother type and is very protective over her”.
But Chace wasn’t the only buddy who helped Taylor through her fiasco.
After the show, she went to dinner at Del Frisco’s to meet some friends and received a standing ovation, an insider says.
“Taylor’s friends ordered her favorite dish, macaroni and cheese, to cheer her up,” the source adds. “And nobody brought up Kanye West.”
Well, it may have been a VERY traumatic moment for Taylor, but at least the girl’s got great friends to help her get over it. Plus, everyone knows Kanye is an egotistical asshole, so she really has nothing to worry about!

Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford seems to have a little crush on Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin!
“I’m not gonna lie. Sarah Palin is quite attractive,” Chace said Wednesday at the Stand Up For A Cure Concert Series at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Wednesday.
However, Chace wouldn’t go so far as to say if he’s actually voting for her. “I can’t talk politics,” he said.

Toronto hosted the Much Music Video Awards last night with performances by New Kids on the Block, Rihanna, Flo Rida, Akon and Simple Plan.
Rihanna picked up Best International Video for Don’t Stop The Music, while the People’s Choice for Favorite International Video went to Fall Out Boy for The Take Over, The Break’s Over. Other People’s Choice winners were Simple Plan for Favorite Canadian Group and Avril Lavigne for Favorite Canadian Artist.
Also making appearances at the awards show were Kristin Cavallari, Brody Jenner, Whitney Port, Chace Crawford and Spice Girl Mel C.
Even though Tony Romo went to Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s wedding this past weekend with his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson, it’s pretty clear they are not getting back together. As we reported today, Simpson hopped a plane to Mexico with her parents sans Romo after the wedding.
There are reports that Romo has not gotten over his other ex Carrie Underwood. Not only that, but Romo talks all the time to Underwood even when she is on tour. Underwood recently broke up with Chace Crawford.

JC Chasez is sick of the online assumptions that he and Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford are having a secret BRO-mance.
“You know what, it’s laughable the first time,” Chasez told People magazine. “I think the tenth time, it gets annoying.”
Chasez and Crawford have sparked rumors by hanging out a lot recently but Chasez insists, “The fact of the matter is I’m a straight guy and I’m allowed to have [guy] friends.”
He’s getting awfully defensive for someone claiming to be so sure with his sexuality!
“I don’t care about [people's] assumptions or anything, but when people outright lie, that’s wrong,” Chasez continued. “So I think that part of the rumor is outright stupid.”
