Her racy commercial for Calvin Klein might have been banned in the US, but that didn’t stop Eva Mendes from promoting Klein’s new range of Seductive Comfort bras at Harrods today in London — using steamy print ads.
Talk about an impressive roster of some fabulous women! Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Debra Messing, Jada Pinkett Smith, Bette Midler and Candice Bergen are ALL in a remake of the 1939 flick The Women.
They rolled out the red carpet last night for the ladies at Mann Village Theater for their Los Angeles premiere, but no sign of Midler.
According to Imdb.com the movie is about a rich New Yorker who leaves her cheating husband and bonds with other society women at a resort.
Eva Mendes is in a brand new Calvin Klein perfume ad and it’s apparently been banned from airing in the U.S. because for a split second you can see Eva’s nipple!
When Eva Mendes checked into rehab in January a lot of people were shocked, and then came the news that perhaps she was just preparing a future movie role.
“There are so many lies out there regarding my recent trip to Cirque Lodge,” Eva told Interview magazine. “But I don’t care what people think. I just don’t care. So I will neither confirm or deny.”
So she’d rather people just spread lies about her?
“But for all the stuff that came out a few months ago about substance abuse, there were so many wrong stories. I was so happy about that, because it’s when they get the real scoop that would make me really nervous,” she said. “You want it to be a lie, because when it’s true, that’s when I’d be like, ‘Oh, my God!’ It’s time to rethink who’s in your circle, because stuff got out.”
Tony Parker and Eva Longoria shined at the CFDA Fashion Awards last night at the New York Public Library. The awards show was quite the star studded event. Eva Mendes looked as clean and sober as her white dress. Kim Cattrall and Mandy Moore both boasted long elegant navy dresses. Victoria Beckham struck a pose with Marc Jacobs while Hilary Duff took a photo with Michael Kors.
Eva Mendeschecked herself into Utah’s celeb rehab center Cirque Lodge in January. According to her rep she was, “proactively attending to some personal issues.”
However, Eva recently landed the role of a Spanish drug lord in the film Queen of the South, also starring Josh Hartnett.
Hollywood acting coach, John Kirby, told Star magazine, “It’s not unusual at all for an actor or actress to go to the extreme of checking into rehab to prepare for a character.”
So, was Eva in rehab for “personal issues” or prepping for a role?

Eva Mendes shocked us all when she checked into rehab a couple months ago at Utah’s Cirque Lodge, but she’s already out and having a good time.
“The sun’s out again. It’s my time,” Mendes told People magazine yesterday.
“I’m actually taking advantage of my time off,” she told continued. “You know, I had a film that was pushed, so I’m home spending time with my family, going to the gym and actually enjoying taking care of myself …. This year has been great for me because I’ve learned how to relax. The last three years have been amazing but kind of crazy. So I don’t know, I feel grounded. I feel really good.”
Mendes has been dating producer George Gargurevich for awhile now and said, “I’m getting a lot of love in the love department, too.”
Hollywood is falling apart! Hitch star Eva Mendes has been checked into Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah for several weeks to treat a substance abuse problem, according to TMZ.com.
“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details,” her rep told TMZ.

Is it just me, or is there not a striking resemblance between Jessica Simpson and Eva Mendes? Ignore the drastic difference in their hair and skin color and take a look at their facial features, especially their lips, teeth and jaw line.
