After an embarrassing year in the press, Rebecca Gayheart and her husband, Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane, move past their naughty video scandal and welcome their first baby!

Gayheart gave birth to a baby girl at Ceders-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. on Wednesday afternoon and TV doctor Dane was dressed in scrubs by her side the entire time.

“They’re both over the moon about it,” a source told Hollyscoop.com following the birth.

The two married in October of 2004 and this is their first child together.

Congrats to the new mom and dad! Just make sure to use the video camera on the baby from now on!

Back in November, Rebecca Gayheart and hubby Eric Dane announced that they were expecting!

Today, the celeb couple is revealing their baby-to-be is a girl!

The two married five years ago and have previously admitted, “we’ve always wanted to be parents,” reports E! News. “I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I’ll be a good mom. We’re absolutely looking forward to it,” Rebecca continued.

The baby girl is due in March.

The wholesome news came at a perfect time for the couple as they ended their summer with a string of bad press revolving around the release of their home video featuring them nude with former beauty queen Kari Anne Peniche.

Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart have filed a lawsuit over the nude tape that leaked online last month.

The at-home video, which was filmed years ago, showcased the Grey’s Anatomy star, Gayheart, and former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche having a little TOO much fun together in a jacuzzi and in bed while being drunk off their asses!

The couple is suing Gawker Media for copyright infringement and is seeking $1 million in damages and an injunction preventing any further circulation of the video online, according to Usmagazine.com.

Gawker’s publisher Nick Denton isn’t taking any blame for uploading the video on DeFamer.com either!

“To quote the great Marty Singer — Eric Dane’s lawyer — if you don’t want a sex tape on the internet, ‘don’t make one!’” Denton posted on his Twitter page.

The parties involved probably blame it on the ah-ah-ah-alcohol!

Shortly after the steamy video was released, Singer described the three-some action as a “private, consensual moment involving a married couple … which was never intended to be seen by the public.” Umm, did he forget about former Miss Teen USA’s appearance? He clearly skipped out on watching the video!

Ashton Kutcher celebrated the big 3-0 last night in NYC with his wife Demi Moore.

Kutcher started the night by dining at Gemma restaurant with guests such as Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu, Salma Hayek and Madonna. The bash continued into the night at Socialista where stars like Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart, Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler and Gwyneth Paltrow showed up to party with the birthday boy.

Grey’s Anatomy hottie Eric Dane has been battling skin cancer since he was diagnosed in January after he noticed his upper lip was unusually chapped.

“I went to my dermatologist. He said it was malignant tissue caused by sun damage,” the 35 year-old actor told OK! magazine.

“McSteamy” said doctors froze the cancerous tissue off with liquid nitrogen but unfortunately Dane had a severe reaction to the cream given to him for his lip after the treatment. “My skin is very sensitive and my lip was traumatized by the procedure I had to go through. I didn’t eat very well for a couple of weeks and lost a bunch of weight,” Dane added. The hunky actor dropped an estimated 10 pounds during the weeks he spent at home recovering.
