It appears that life is imitating art for Chris Noth, because the middle-aged hottie has finally bit the bullet and popped the BIG question to his longtime girlfriend!

Noth broke the news about his engagement to Tara Wilson Sunday to Entertainment Tonight Canada during an interview he did from his London, Ontario Once Upon A Tea Cup teahouse.

The couple, who met when Wilson worked at Noth’s NYC bar the Cutting Room, have a a two-year-old son named Orion Christopher Noth.

Oh say it ain’t so Mr. Big! And to think that every time The Boots Girls visited Noth’s bar in Manhattan he was never there! Why didn’t we think to apply for a job there?!

We’re going to have to find a new name for Mr. Big!

Our favorite hunk of burning love and Sex and the City star, Chris Noth, dished to Usmagazine.com about how he shed the pounds for reprising his role in the sequel due out in 2010.

“I went to a place called the Island Experience in Brazil on Ilha Grande. It’s two hours drive from Rio and 40 minutes by boat,” he told Us.

“Usually it’s about going to a trainer and all that but [the resort has] a very holistic approach. But I needed to bring my body into fitness — so I went for nine days,” Noth said. “It was a total vegetarian diet. Basically, you spend all day doing yoga, hiking, kayaking, eating vegetarian food, no coffee, no alcohol, no meat.

“You’re cleansing yourself, but not starving yourself,” he goes on. “I’ve never been a vegetarian, but the way they prepare it is exquisite. And you’re in one of the most beautiful Atlantic rain forests on the planet.

“I’m not a big yoga person, so that was hard. But it was basic Hatha yoga. I loved it,” he continues. “Also there’s painting there. I wanted to do something that was intense, but had a holistic way, which is this.”

Um…yum! Big or small Noth is always looking good and he incredibly is clocking in at 54. Dude doesn’t look a day over 30! Okay, maybe 40.

It looks like Chris Noth may be letting his ego get in the way of filming the Sex and the City: The Movie sequel.

“We’re still in negotiations,” Noth told Extra. “[But] we’ll get there.”

All four of the hit show and movie’s leading ladies have signed on so what’s the hold up Big?!?!

It looks like Carrie and Big may become proud parents in the Sex and the City: The Movie sequel.

“[Producers] are probably thinking about that, but I don’t know,” Chris Noth told Usmagazine.com.

Carrie Bradshaw has never struck us as the maternal type. After all, she uses her oven to store sweaters! But hey, we’ll take any news on the upcoming Sex movie!

Chris Noth and Cynthia Nixon attended the opening night for Broadway’s A Man For All Seasons last night in New York City. I wonder if they were talking about doing a Sex and the City movie sequel.

We sure hope so!

Sex and the City: The Movie hit the red carpet in New York City last night for their premiere at Radio City Music Hall.

Most of the cast was there, including Kim Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Jason Lewis, Jennifer Hudson and Mario Cantone.

SATC attracted tons of celebrity fans too like Fergie, Donald and Melania Trump, Ashley Olsen, Bette Midler, Emmy Rossum, Molly Sims, Mary J. Blige and Idina Menzel.

Only two more days till the Chicago screening! I can’t wait!!!

              

Extra spoke to Chris Noth recently about the possibility of a sequel to the Sex and the City: The Movie.

“I imagine if it made a lot of money, they’d want one. I don’t know where Sarah stands on that…it’s sort of up to her. I’m just riding her coattails!”

I’m definitely for a Sex 2, but geeze maybe we should let the first one come out!

Hello, hello! This is the best news I’ve received ALL day! It looks like Mr. Big is settled back into New York City and I think it’s more than obvious that him and Carrie Bradshaw are still going strong. The lovebirds were caught kissing on the streets of New York yesterday as they shot films for “Sex and the City: The Movie”. Holla to that!
