Chelsea Clinton plans to tie the knot with longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky!

The former president’s daughter announced her engagement via email to friends on Friday, Nov. 27, according to ABC News.

“We’re sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc,” the email read.

Matt McKenna — Clinton spokesman — told ABC News that the engagement is believed to have taken place on Thanksgiving in New York.

The couple — who have known each other since their teens when their parents worked in D.C. — became closer when they both attended Stanford University… and it’s been smooth sailin’ since!

They say girls marry men like their fathers… let’s hope Marc doesn’t get down with any chicks in their home office!

Hillary Clinton and Elton John exchanged kisses last night at Elton John’s Big Apple fundraiser in NYC at the Radio City Music Hall.

Clinton is a huge Elton John fan and told Extra she can’t pick just one favorite song, “I’ve got a bunch of them. Your Song, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Candle in the Wind. There’s a song that’s an omen for the Pennsylvania primary, Philadelphia Freedom.”

The Boots Girls caught up with Chelsea Clinton Sunday night at a private fundraiser at D3 Entertainment owner Joey Vartanian’s house. At the event I asked the well-spoken former First Daughter why she does not do interviews with the media. “I’ve actually never done interviews with the media,” Clinton said. “I think we all draw the boundaries in our lives that we are comfortable with. I am really comfortable with talking to voters.”

Clinton also said she did not imagine campaigning for her mother in 2008. She said she has a private life in New York - involving a dog, boyfriend and an apartment - which she will go back to at some point. So I asked if that means she’s not planning on running for office someday. “Not planning on it,” Clinton said.

When Clinton left the fundraiser, the valet guys were snapping photos of her in total awe. When Clinton noticed them, she walked over to them and offered to take photos with them.

While Chelsea Clinton was campaigning for Hillary Clinton the other day in Indiana, someone asked her if her mom’s credibility suffered after the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Maybe Johnny Depp took a break from filming to ask the question?

“I do not think that’s any of your business,” Clinton said.

I wonder why she’s so defensive! Lol.
