Reese Witherspoon’s recently dished about the extreme low she went through during her painful divorce to Ryan Phillippe.

“When people get in your face and say, ‘This will pass,’ you think: Are they crazy?” Witherspooon tells the April issue of Elle. “I’m never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing’s ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I’m like, ‘Nothing’s ever gonna make sense again.’ “

She says her 2006 divorce was “very humiliating and very isolating”, but also acknowledges that if it wasn’t painful than she probably should not have married.

“If it’s not painful, maybe it wasn’t the right decision to marry to begin with,” Witherspoon said. “Those are the appropriate emotions.”

She said that her and Philippe did their share of playing the blame game!

“Blame, blame, blame,” she says. “You know? And it’s a really easy thing to do, and I’m certainly guilty of it. [You have to] look at yourself and go: ‘What part of this do I need to own? Which part of this is my responsibility?’ And that’s the painful work that you have to go through to hopefully get some real-life knowledge out of it.”

Even though Witherspoon went through a major low with her divorce, she sure seems to have found happiness with Jake Gyllenhaal

“He’s fabulous,” she says. “He really is a fantastic guy.”

We’re glad that the pain of her divorce was ultimately worth it for her!

Reese Witherspoon walked the red carpet last night for the L.A. premiere of her new movie Four Christmases and her co-star Vince Vaughn was notably absent.

We know Vince can sometimes be a Grinch, but we’re not sure why he’d miss the Hollywood premiere of his latest movie. The other films stars including Sissy Spacek, Jon Favreau and Robert Duvall were all there.

Reese Witherspoon talked about how her and ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe plan to divide their time with their kids over the holidays this year while promoting her new film Four Christmases in Beverly Hills over the weekend.

“I think the most important thing is to be a grownup and not let any kind of feelings affect how you deal with your children,” Witherspoon said.

Witherspoon and Phillippe finalized their divorce in June and she has since said that, “a lot of communication” with her ex-husband and “just being very open” makes the children feel comfortable which is the main goal.

Reese is currently dating Jake Gyllenhaal and when asked if she would ever marry again she said: “I don’t know. I don’t think about it much.”

Yeah, we’re sure the thought never crossed your mind even though you’re in a serious relationship. She’s probably secretly engaged!

Despite reports that Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are drifting apart, the two looked happy in love in London on Friday.

Reese recently moved to a house in Notting Hill to be closer to Jake while he films the movie The Prince of Persia. The two were spotted getting coffee and shopping, which included a stop Among at a lingerie store.

The two even held hands and smiled for the paparazzi.

It’s nice that Reese has found happiness, especially since her sketchy ex-husband is still dating the other woman Abby Cornish.

Reese and her kids have been left in Los Angeles — and left feeling alone. “They really needed to reconnect and remember why they were in a relationship in the first place,” said another source said of Reese’s trip to London in September to visit Jake. “While there, they even went house hunting for a place because Jake will be using London as his home base until December. Reese doesn’t like the formality of a hotel for her and her two kids.”

Let’s hope these two can figure out a way to reconnect because they’re super cute together!

While rumors of an engagement swirled from reports in The Daily Mail, Usmagazine.com has confirmed that Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are NOT engaged.

“The Daily Mail reports are false,” Gyllenhaal rep said.

The couple has definitely made steps towards commitment though when Jake recently moved into Reese’s L.A. home. “Reese was willing to try it because Jake had assured her he is 100 percent committed for the long haul,” a source told Us.

Us Weekly reported in its latest issue that Gyllenhaal moved into Witherspoon’s $5 million L.A. home where she resides with her two kids, Ava and Deacon.

After only a year together a source told Us, “Marriage is definitely what they are working toward. They literally don’t want to spend any time away from each other.”

If that’s the case, then the move-in was a good idea! I hope they turn out to be one of the few Hollywood couples that actually makes it for the long haul.

Phillippe and Witherspoon were married for seven years and separated in 2006 after having two children, Ava and Deacon.

As if Reese Witherspoon isn’t busy enough with two kids and an active movie career, she’s also found time to be the Avon Global Ambassador and Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation. Quite the title!

Reese joined over 3,500 participants in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer over the weekend in Washington, D.C. where they raised about $8.1 million.
