Jerry O’Connell and John Corbett were both recently in Chicago for a few weeks to film their upcoming flick Baby On Board.
The Boots Girls and our readers had encounters with both stars and we couldn’t help but notice how night and day Corbett and O’Connell were.
As we reported several times, O’Connell was super nice to everyone he met and interacted with here in the Windy City. I got tons of e-mails from fans and people on the set and everyone, including us, raved about him.
Corbett, not so much!
I was at one of my regular neighborhood bars, Rande Gerber’s Mexx Kitchen at the Whiskey, a few weeks ago and I ran into O’Connell and Corbett. I had already met and done work with O’Connell. So, naturally, O’Connell introduced me to Corbett. When I whipped out my hand to shake Corbett’s, I heard “eh”.
Not a hi, hello or even a hey. It was like the first sound you make when you wake up after a long night of drinking. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he fully turned his back me! Not to talk to someone else, he turned his back to stare at a wall. WTF! I couldn’t believe how incredibly rude he was.
I wasn’t going to call him out, because all celebrities have their bad days and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. But then I started hearing stories from other locals who had the misfortune of encountering him as well…
O’Connell and Corbett both filmed at a Chicago Equinox for one of the movie’s scenes. O’Connell chatted and hung out with the movie crew and health club staffers. Meanwhile, Corbett was very unfriendly.
“He didn’t talk to anyone and was kind of rude,” according to a source. “I think he was hung over or something because he pulled out a mat and took a nap in the middle of the gym during the shoot!”
Nice one John. Maybe you should pick up some real-life acting tips from your down-to-earth co-star!
“I think he’s just bitter because he’s not in the Sex and the City movie,”, another source said.
Probably! I’m glad Carrie ended up with Mr. Big - Big has way more class than that!
