The time has come… Alec Baldwin is done with Hollywood!
Well, his career will come to a close just after he finishes cohosting next year’s Oscars and stops working as a prime-time magnet for the Golden Globes and Oscars. Basically, when his 30 Rock contract expires in 2012 he’s done for good!
“I don’t have any interest in acting anymore,” he tells Men’s Journal. “Movies are part of my past. It’s been 30 years. I’m not young, but I have time to do something else.”
He continues, “It’s a difficult thing to say, but I believe it: I consider my entire movie career a complete failure,” he said. “I’ll tell you why. The goal of moviemaking is to star in a film where your performance drives the film, and the film is either a soaring critical or commercial success, and I never had that.”
Stephen Baldwin said on Thursday that his big brother Alec Baldwin is seriously considering running for senate against Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman.
“Sure, I think Alec has some very interesting ideas that are common sense and logical that he would like to share with folks,” little Baldwin said according to the Washington Times. “And the best way to do that is to hold political office.”
Baldwin went on to say that the huge success of 30 Rock has given his big bro the financial security to run for office.
“I don’t know what he’s going to do, but I believe he’s going to do something,” Baldwin added.
We think Alec should stick with what he knows - acting and leaving nasty voicemail messages on his daughter, Ireland’s, cell phone!
Alec Baldwin says he contemplated suicide after the voicemail message he left for his then 11-year-old daughter, where he called her a “rude little pig”, was leaked.
The 30 Rock star says that his April 2007 rant against Ireland was brought on by a six-year bitter custody battle with his ex-wife Kim Basinger. He says he was so beside himself when the message surfaced on the Internet that he contemplated suicide.
“[I was] very serious,” says in the July/August issue of Playboy. “I spoke to a lot of professionals, who helped me.”
However, he says if he killed himself than his ex-wife would’ve won.
“If I committed suicide, they [Kim's side] would have considered that a victory,” Baldwin continues. “Destroying me was their avowed goal.”
Uh, was that the only reason Alec had not to commit suicide? So his ex-wife wouldn’t win a custody battle? Yeah, that’s rational.
Foreign countries are banning Alec Baldwin and conservative talk show host Michael Savage for exercising their First Amendment rights here in America.
The two are boycotted in two totally different situations.
Baldwin is no longer welcome in the Philippines after making a derogatory joke saying he was going to order a Filipina mail-order bride on the Late Show with David Letterman the other night.
After his remark, Filipino Senator Ramon Revilla issued this warning to Baldwin: “Let him try to come here in the Philippines and he’ll see mayhem.”
In a more grave scenario, Savage is banned from Britain by their top homeland security official, Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, grouped in a list with terrorists and neo-Nazi murderers, because they believe his conservative viewpoints will provoke violence.
The no. 3 talk show host in the U.S. is firing back with an anti-defamation lawsuit.
“Darn! And I was just planning a trip to England for their superior dental work and cuisine,” Savage said in an interview with World Net Daily.
“Then it sank in, and I said, ‘She said this is the kind of behavior we won’t tolerate? She’s linking me with mass murderers who are in prison for killing Jewish children on buses? For my speech? The country where the Magna Carta was created?’”
Savage claims he has never advocated violence and it’s preposterous to link him in a group with over a dozen murderers and terrorists!
“It’s interesting to me that here I am a talk show host, who does not advocate violence, who advocates patriotic traditional values – borders, language, culture – who is now on a list banned in England,” Savage said. “What does that say about the government of England? It says more about them than it says about me.”
Any country that does not allow free speech is a very dangerous place to live and history has proven that time and again!

Alec Baldwin & Daughter Make-Up!

I thought it was super creepy that Alec Baldwin showed up with a date who not only looked just like his 13-year-old daughter, Ireland, but also appeared as young as her.
Turns out - it was his daughter! I wasn’t expecting that from the 30 Rock star considering his rocky relationship with his daughter. Last year Baldwin left a nasty voice message on her cell phone, where he called her a “pig, and it was leaked on the Internet.
It’s nice that the daddy-daughter duo were able to work out their hard feelings. There already sadly are way too many celebrities in Hollywood with estranged family members!
Star is reporting that Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are fighting on the set of 30 Rock.
This is apparently what happened at a recent photo shoot on set. “Get ready to do a lot of airbrushing,” Alec said. Tina, who recently commented on her childhood scar on her left cheek, fired back, “Something wrong with my face?”
Alec responded by saying that it was Tina’s whole body that would need to be airbrushed.
“Tina shot back that this was coming from a guy with a double chin who thinks Sarah Palin is hot,” a set source told Star. “Alec was steamed about it the rest of the day and had words with Tina about it later.”
Now, I’m sure that all of this was said, but these people are comedians! It is possible that they were just joking!
Alec Baldwin On Kissing Jennifer Aniston: “It Was Painful”

Alec Baldwin dissed Jennifer Aniston’s kissing skills after the two had a make-out session for an episode of 30 Rock.
“It was painful… I mean, every man who’s had to make out with her in TV and movies — I don’t know how they do it,” Baldwin sarcastically said according to the National Enquirer.
Baldwin also said, in a roundabout way, that crazy chicks are better in bed.
“That’s assuming I’ve been with crazy women,” Baldwin remarked. “If I answer that question in the affirmative, that would type a woman I’ve been with as being crazy.”
“But I hear from my friends it’s true,” Baldwin added.
I’m guessing Baldwin wouldn’t put Aniston in the “crazy chick” category even though she did get a little wild while she was dating Vince Vaughn. Drinking tequila make all of us girls a little loco sometimes!
Not only did Sarah Palin boldly cross paths with Tina Fey on SNL last night, she was also in two sketches which included several cast members and even Alec Baldwin, Mark Whalberg and Lorne Michaels.
The best skit is when Amy Poehler does a rap about Palin that SNL had allegedly scripted for her to do. It’s hilarious! Click HERE to watch the videos!
Jennifer Aniston is set to play a “free-spirited, Fatal Attraction-like stalker” when she guest stars on 30 Rock.
Aniston will be Tina Fey’s former roommate who shows up in New York and attaches herself to Alec Baldwin, NBC announced Tuesday.
“Jennifer is not only incredibly lovely to have around, she also has what the young people would call ‘mad skills.’ We’re very excited that she’s joining us,” said Fey, who is the show’s creator, executive producer and star.
For someone like Aniston who has had her fair share of stalkers, she should be able to nail the role. It’s nice that Aniston is moving forward with her life since her break-up with John Mayer. The show premieres on Oct. 30.
