Carrie Underwood just got engaged to Mike Fisher, and her ex, Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford, has no hard feelings!

At Sunday night’s Golden Globes, Usmagazine.com asked Chace if he had well wishes for the happy couple. He quickly exclaimed, “Absolutely! I wish her the best.”

Actually, it was Chace who dumped Carrie back in 2008 via text message!

“It was completely mutual,” she told Extra following the break up. “We’re both fine…We broke up over text so… It’s like ‘peace out.’”

Looks like it didn’t take too long for Carrie to recover though. She, and Ottawa Senators center were engaged last December, but have yet to set a date for their pending nuptials.

“Our schedules don’t provide us too much time to get married and have time to really enjoy being married,” she said. “We’re trying to really work it out and move some stuff around.”

Congrats to the happy couple! And don’t worry Chace, you’ll find your own gossip girl one day…

Last week Carrie Underwood talked babies and this week she’s engaged! Uh oh! Does this mean she’s got a bun in the oven?!

Ottawa Senator hockey player Mike Fisher popped the question to the country singer Sunday, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

“I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” the rep tells Us. “No wedding date has been set at this time.”

Fisher — who couldn’t hold in his excitement — also confirmed the news at a press conference Monday but wouldn’t reveal any details regarding the proposal, the Ottawa Sun reports.

“It’s true,” he said. “We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”

The hockey player immediately hit up his boys via his celly after the proposal went down to inform them of the recent news! Uhh, isn’t that totally a girl move?!

“I think it’s great,” teammate Chris Neil told reporters. “It’s a long time coming. There’s going to be a lot of broken hearts in Ottawa with all those girls who are in love with Mikey.”

While the two have attempted to keep their relationship on the DL, they just can’t seem to hide their feelings for each other.

“Thank you #12,” Underwood said on the liner notes of her new CD, Play On, referring to his jersey number. “You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! Likewise, Fisher dished the compliments to his girl on The Sens Show — a Web news program for his team — praising her singing capabilities.

“She can sing anything – I like it when she sings a good rock song,” he said.

He also added that she was “very committed” and worked “extremely hard. She doesn’t get too many days off – a lot less days off than I get. She’s always going.”

Despite their busy schedules, “we always find a way to make it work,” he said.

Aww! Well good luck to the happy couple! He definitely seems like a winner… well at least compared to her ex douche bag boyfriend, Tony Romo!

If there’s one thing Carrie Underwood refuses to do, it’s pushing four little brats out of her va-jay-jay!

In the January issue of Self magazine, the country gal opens up about her goals for starting a family.

“Someday I’d like to start a family,” Underwood says. “Not a big one, but not a small one either.”

“Two kids is good,” she explains. “Three is fine. Four? Somebody’s getting something done, because we ain’t having five!”

Sounds like Underwood’s Canadian hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher will have to part ways with his balls after baby number three! That is if she hasn’t dropped his ass by then!

Besides her amazing talent, Underwood is also known for her slammin’ body! How does the country star stay in tip top shape? Well, just like us common folk!

“I have Exercise TV on cable,” Underwood clarifies. “Jillian Michael’s videos will kick your butt.”

Unlike most people, when Miss Carrie Baby becomes overly stressed, she doesn’t stuff her face with sweets! She opts for throwing punches instead!

If I’m ticked off, I’ll get a punching bag and beat the crap out of it.”

So maybe she’s not as self-absorbed as Kim Kardashian — Tweeting pictures of herself like it’s her job — but Carrie has no problem checking out publicized photos of herself and admitting she looks damn fine!

“I love it when I feel good about myself,” she says. “I’ll look at a photo and think, ‘My arms look great!’ — and then I go work out on my arms. Once you’re enjoying things about your body, you realize how much you want to keep them that way or make them better.”

So maybe Carrie’s a little vain but at least she puts it to good use!

While Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson may have once had a mutual hate for one another, we suggest that the two blonde bombshells do lunch and bond over their ex, Tony Romo!

In an interview with Esquire, Underwood confirms that her song Cowboy Casanova was most definitely not about the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

“No, I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong,” the 26-year-old country star says. “I would never give him that much credit.”

Carrie fell for the Romo spell in 2007 before Jessica got her hands on the douche bag, but by October of that year, she kicked his sorry ass to curb!

“Point blank, he is about football. I don’t know if it’s that I’m not quite his type or whatever, but I don’t think he’s at the point in his life where he would be willing to sacrifice football,” she said at the time. “He hated so much that people thought that he was paying more attention to me and that was causing him to not do well.”

Unfortunately our girl Jess appeared to be too smitten over the d-bag, leaving him to dump her before she even had the chance!

While he once had the real thing, Tony probably now finds himself beating off to pictures of his former flings!

At Sunday’s ACM Awards, Carrie Underwood became the first female since 2001 to be named entertainer of the year. Additionally, she is only the seventh woman to win the award since the ACM’s first started in 1970.

In her acceptance speech, Carrie stated, “I’ve had a lot of good moments in the last four years. This one takes the cake!”

Although she struggled with the words in her speech, she did remember one major shout out to her boyfriend Mike Fisher from the Ottowa Senators, raising her trophy she shouted “Mike, baby, I wish you were here!”

Additionally, Underwood took home the award for top female vocalist, which she also won in 2008.

Carrie Underwood addressed her alleged feud with Jessica Simpson and ex-boyfriends yesterday in New York for the unveiling of her wax figure at Madam Tussauds on Thursday.

When reporters about Simpson, who is dating Underwood’s ex-boyfriend Tony Romo, she brushed off rumors of a feud.

“I met her once and she seemed really nice so I don’t have a feud with anybody,” said Underwood, who then talked about Simpson’s recent crossover to country music.

“I think it’s great that country music just seems to be opening their arms to people that want to be a part of it,” she said. “They let me in when they didn’t have to and they’re doing the same thing for a lot of other people.”

Underwood also talked about the role the media his played with her relationship with ex-boyfriends.

“I generally have been friends with ex-boyfriends. Sometimes the whole media thing adds, well not sometimes, every time it adds a little obstacle,” Underwood said. “But before all this, everybody I had ever dated I was friends with.”

Someone sounds bitter. I’m guessing she is referring to Romo!

Country music’s biggest night is Nov. 12 — the Country Music Awards — and this year two of the biggest names in the industry are hosting. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley were named Female and Male Vocalists of the Year last year, so they’ve been named as this year’s hosts!

“I am so excited to host a show I grew up watching, and am so thrilled to spend this night with the fans and Brad,” Carrie told OK! magazine. “It’s going to be a party!”

Paisley said, “I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to host the Awards show. We’re going to have a good time – start to finish.”

Jessica Simpson recently declared her love for Tony Romo, again, and ex-girlfriend Carrie Underwood can’t stand it!

“She finds Jessica’s love of putting her life on display pretty desperate,” a friend of Underwood’s told OK! magazine. “She laughed at the People cover, because it’s the same one Jess did about John Mayer — same smile, same look, except she’s a little fatter.”

Ouch! I’m beginning to think Carrie might not be as sweet as I once thought she was. Underwood also wants Simpson off her country turf, although she’s not too concerned about the competition.

“Carrie doesn’t think fans will spend money to watch Jess warble through a few badly written songs,” her friend said.

Jessica Simpson said she laughed when she heard Carrie Underwood’s claim that her boyfriend Tony Romo still calls her.

Underwood told September’s issue of Allure magazine that, “The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer.” about Romo.

“I looked at his call log,” she said Wednesday in an interview with Nashville’s 107.5 FM’s Woody and Jim show. “Tony and I both laughed at that,” Simpson said. “We got a chuckle out of it.”

She went on, “If Tony wanted to call her and be with her, he would.”

Carrie Underwood recently told Allure magazine that ex-boyfriend Tony Romo still calls her, but Tony is crying FOUL to those allegations!

Sources close to Romo’s camp told TMZ.com that Tony “is not calling Carrie”.
