Charlie Sheen is over the whole rehab scene and is ready to check out!

The actor will be released shortly and is expected to resume work on Two and a Half Men next Tuesday, March 16, his rep tells The Hollywood Reporter. Production on the show had been temporarily paused for an additional two weeks to accommodate Charlie’s time in rehab.

It was on Feb. 23 that Charlie announced he was admitting himself into an undisclosed facility for “preventative measures.”

The star, who has dealt with addiction before, became very volatile over the past few months. In February, he was charged for threatening to kill is wife, Brooke Mueller on Christmas day. His punishment has not been set, and Charlie could face one to three years in prison.

His next court date is set for Monday March 15.

Additionally, Brooke is seeking treatment for her substance abuse problems, but recently checked herself out of The Canyon facility in Malibu for at-home treatment.

What a classy and well-rounded family these two have. Between episodes of drug and alcohol abuse, to Charlie’s straight up volatile nature, we imagine their children are going to receive a completely healthy upbringing. Or not…

Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen got their crunk faces on hours before she reported to rehab!

Reunited back in Los Angeles after their Aspen court appearance, the couple spent a few hours together and Mueller hit the bottle hard, a source close to the pair told RadarOnline.com.

“It was just more of the same with Brooke,” the source said. “Her mother had been begging her to go into rehab.”

Mueller — who was recently hospitalized for pneumonia — had been in rehab in North Carolina prior to getting sick. After peacing out of North Carolina, Mueller hit up Sheen’s Aspen court date and then returned to Hollywood to party it up!

While in the hospital, friends reportedly tried to sneak in drugs.

“It got to the point where even Charlie told her to go to rehab because of their kids,” the source close to both of them told Radar.

“She had one final party, drinking pretty heavily, and Charlie was with her part of the time. But when he left it didn’t stop. The next day she was in bad, bad shape and that’s when she went into rehab.”

Damn! This chick is an absolute mess — not surprising though, considering what Charlie put her through! We’d most definitely turn to alcohol if our hubby threatened us with a switchblade!

Tuesday afternoon, a judge modified Charlie Sheen’s restraining order from wife, Brooke Mueller, allowing them the opportunity to work out their differences. How did the two commemorate the occasion? Smoking cigs on a private Aspen tarmac. Classy.

After Charlie’s protective order was modified the couple hugged over their reunion. Following their dismissal, Brooke’s lawyer told reporters they hugged and kissed again in the basement of the courthouse.

It was obvious that Brooke wanted to prosecutors to drop the case.

“I can tell you, Brooke very badly wanted to have contact with Charlie,” her lawyer said outside court.

“There are many childrens’ issues that she wanted to communicate with him about… they have two gorgeous beautiful babies together.

“Brooke would like this case to be over and charges dismissed so they can get on with their lives.”

And while they left in separate cars, the couple secretly met up on the tarmac to fly out of Aspen.

An eye-witness tells RadarOnline.com that the couple had a “heart-to-heart” while waiting for their private jet to take them Colorado back to their California home.

“Charlie and Brooke stood outside on the tarmac (in Aspen) and seemed to be deeply involved in a heart-to-heart conversation, all the while smoking cigarettes,” said the eye-witness.

“They were clearly relieved to be back in each others’ company and even shared a joke or two.”

Additionally, it was Charlie’s first private communication since his Christmas arrest. Prior to the secret rendezvous, the couple could only communicate through their lawyers.

Following the hearing, and in a final desperate attempt to avoid media attention, Charlie had the jet diverted to Camarillo Airport in Ventura, outside LA, while the rest of the crew continued on to Van Nuys Airport.

Oh Brooke, what have you gotten yourself into?! Best of luck sister… We have a feeling you’re gonna need it.

Just this morning, a Mercedes-Benz belonging to Charlie Sheen was found crashed into a steep ravine near his Sherman Oaks, Calif. home.

Police received a 911 call around 4 a.m. saying the car was down a cliff off Mullholland Drive.

Also around the same time, Charlie called to report that his 2009 Mercedes-Benz S600 had been stolen, reports the Associated Press.

The car appeared upside-down about 100 feet down a brush-covered ravine.

Now, police are searching the hillside for potential crash victims but so far they have no evidence that anyone was in the car when it went over the edge.

“Reports concerning a stolen car belonging to Charlie Sheen are accurate enough,” his rep tells Usmagazine.com. “Charlie is fine, and the police are investigating.”

In the meantime, Aspen Assistant District Attorney Arnold Mordkin tells Us that Charlie is being charged with a felony for allegedly putting a knife to his wife, Brooke Mueller’s throat and threatening to kill her on Christmas day. He is expected to be charged with menacing and misdemeanor assault.

Geeze, Charlie’s life is in shambles!

Denise Richards’ daughters know their daddy Charlie Sheen didn’t just get coal in his stocking, but that he legit spent Christmas in the slammer!

And no, they didn’t hear the news from their super bitch mommy, but rather a classmate in Sam’s kindergarten class!

Awkward! Denise probably had a field day explaining that one to a 5-year-old.

“It’s sad. It’s a sad situation,” Richards said in an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show Tuesday. “Their dad was in jail on Christmas.”

“I did have to tell them about their dad,” continued Richards, who split from Sheen in 2006 after four years of marriage and two children together, Sam, 5, and Lola, 4.

While Denise never took any punches to the face or knives to the throat, she is very familiar with Charlie’s abusive personality.

During their relationship, Richards said that Sheen had a “a very sharp tongue, he played on my insecurities.”

“He never hit me,” she said, but admitted she feared leaving him.

“I was terrified and relieved that I had the courage to do it,” the actress explained. “Our daughters didn’t ask to be born into our conflict….It was impossible to make [our marriage] work.”

Though the couple went through a bitter divorce, Richards and Sheen have found it in their hearts to be cordial to one another for the sake of their beautiful little girls.

“Charlie and I are in a good place now… It’s taken a lot of work on our part.”

Uh, even after he threatened his wife’s life?! That’s definitely something young children shouldn’t be exposed to! We’re surprised Denise hasn’t gone into full bitch mode demanding that she get full custody of the girls!

Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller has just been checked into the intensive care unit at a Sherman Oaks, Calif. hospital.

The news was broken Wednesday morning, when the couple had a last minute cancellation of an Aspen, Colo. court hearing, reports TMZ.

The couple was planning on returning to court to ask the judge to lift the restraining order preventing them from being in contact with each other. Brooke’s attorneys asked to move the hearing to Friday in order for her to recover from surgery related to an “oral infection.”

The restraining order pertains to Charlie’s Dec. 25 arrest, when he allegedly assaulted his wife, threatened to kill her, and brandished a knife.

Brooke, to keep yourself out of intensive care for good, maybe you should rethink your decision to revoke the restraining order? Just a suggestion…

One usually drops his drawers, but in the case of Charlie Sheen, the drawers dropped him!

Looks like we won’t be seeing Sheen’s “Comfortsoft” underwear commercials anymore! The underwear company cut TV commercials featuring Sheen after his Dec. 25 arrest for threatening to go all Chris Brown on his wife Brooke Mueller.

Hanes spokesperson, Matt Hall tells Usmagazine.com, “Hanes is not running the Hanes television commercials featuring Charlie Sheen, and those commercials will not run again.”

Hanes didn’t waste anytime getting Sheen’s scum-bag face out of the commercials!

“The commercials were suspended effective Dec. 28, the first date possible after Mr. Sheen’s Christmas Day arrest,” Hall explains.

Unfortunately, we may be seeing Mr. Switch Blade in a few upcoming print ads as they can’t be pulled.

“There are a few trade advertisements featuring Mr. Sheen scheduled to run this spring. Unfortunately, the production schedule of those publications do not allow us to pull those ads,” Hall said.

Sounds like Charlie will actually have to pay for his underwear now! Just like us common folk!

Looks like Charlie Sheen won’t be starting the new year off with his twin boys!

After a visit from Pitkin County Social Services, it’s been confirmed that twinsies, Bob and Max Sheen, will spend at least one month in Aspen with their mommy. Sources reveal that the child-welfare officials made the trip to the Mueller’s home last week following Brooke’s drunken 911 dialing Christmas morning.

“The people from the social services agency talked to Brooke, her mom, her step dad and her nanny, and told them that everything looks good and Brooke appears to be an excellent mother,” a source close to Mueller tells People.

“Brooke and the twins, Max and Bob, are planning to stay in their rented Aspen house for at least another month. After that they may go to Palm Beach to visit family for awhile,” the source added.

Probably after child services raids Charlie’s home for all the extra switch blades he’s got hiding!

After many interviews, the social services representatives found the atmosphere for the twins to be “just fine,” they said.

Damn Charlie! Four kids in his life and he won’t be seeing any of them for awhile! Lord knows Denise Richards won’t be allowing him in reach of his daughters for some time!

Someone seriously needs to tell Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller that a couple can be deeply in love and horrible for each other at the same time!

Mueller’s attorney, Yale Galanter describes the couple’s drunken Christmas morning incident when Charlie threatened his wifey with a switch blade just a bad day!

“They’re very much in love, and they want to try to work it out,” he told Usmagazine.com Wednesday. “I think they had a really bad day, which is probably an understatement, but they need their privacy and they need some time.”

Uhh, doesn’t a bad day for most couples involve a heated argument leaving the wife to max out her hubby’s credit card and him chuggin’ a few beers with his boys? Just for the both of them to come home for a night of great make-up sex?!

Because Sheen and Mueller have not been able to speak at all since the incident, Galanter filed a motion Wednesday to alter the restraining order that prevents the couple from communicating.

“They want to act as husband and wife, and with the restraining order there, that’s tough to do,” he told Us. “I believe their relationship is still strong… They love each other. They’re married. They have two beautiful babies.”

Love, marriage, kids… who the hell cares?! Charlie’s clearly a wife beater and that’s all they need is for their twin boys to think it’s totally acceptable for men to hit women!

After telling a 911 dispatcher that Charlie Sheen threatened her with a knife, Brooke Mueller wants to make every effort to save her marriage!

Mueller has reportedly asked famous criminal lawyer Yale Galanter to change the protective order so that she and her hubby can see each other in order to work out their never-ending list of issues, the attorney tells People.

“Brooke and Charlie are very passionate about each other, they love each other and want to try and save their marriage,” Galanter said Wednesday. “They had a bad night and want to get beyond it. They want to try and resolve their issues.”

Mueller is getting her wish! Galanter — who has represented high profile celebs such as O.J. Simpson — says he filed papers in Aspen, Colo., on Wednesday to modify the protective order set into effect after Sheen’s domestic violence arrest. With nine month old twins, the rocky couple are seeking privacy in hopes of solving their crazy issues.

“They have absolutely gorgeous little babies and will do all they can to work out their problems,” Galanter tells People. “I filed papers so the couple can see each other immediately and work through the issues. I hope to meet with Charlie’s lawyer in court in the next day or so, but probably not before Monday.”

Additionally, Galanter says he has every intention to protect Mueller from any type of potential charge of dishonesty.

“Brooke did not recant her story, she was simply unaware of the consequences when she called 911 and felt bad about it,” Galanter says.

Like we stated before, once an abuser always an abuser! It’s really unfortunate that some women victim of domestic violence seem to think they can change their man…

We’ll be crossing our fingers that Charlie doesn’t whip out the switch blade again!
