It looks like Lindsay Lohan can put her broke joke worries aside because she finally landed herself a J-O-B!

Lohan is set to star in indie-fantasy comedy The Other Side with Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews, and Alanis Morissette, according to Variety.

America’s favorite paparazzi victim will play a grad student spending the summer working at a scientific institute on a remote island. While there, she’ll discover a group of wacky locals who are apparently hiding a crazy secret about a tragedy that took place years ago.

Sounds like the perfect role – she’ll fit in great with a bunch of wackjobs!

Canadian rocker Alanis Morissette has released the new music video for her song Not As We from her latest album Flavors Of Entanglement.

Speaking of Alanis, I wonder how she feels about the news that her ex-fiance Ryan Reynolds just got married to Scarlett Johansson!

“I refuse to go into rooms with air conditioning. People think I’m some sort of diva because I won’t even put a foot into a place if the air con is on. It’s not about being a diva - it’s about my health. Within a matter of minutes of being exposed to air conditioning, my body goes into meltdown, and within three hours I’ll contract laryngitis and won’t be able to speak, let alone sing,” Canadian rocker Alanis Morissette explained.

Those tough times, such as separating from fiance Ryan Reynolds, served as the inspiration for her new album Flavors of Entanglement.

Canadian rocker Alanis Morissette was spotted last night in Chicago browsing the canine couture at Barker and Meowsky pet boutique in trendy Lincoln Park. Morissette was accompanied by an unidentified man, and sources say the two looked very cozy.

Morissette is in town for her concert with Matchbox Twenty tonight at the Sears Center.
