As Tim McGraw Would Say, Live Like You Were Dying
October 21st, 2008
Survivor creator Jeff Probst has created and will host a new reality pilot for CBS. Exciting! — And a little bit morbid as well. The show is called Live Like You’re Dying, and the contestants are, well, dying.
According to EW.com, the show will feature a person who has been given a terminal diagnosis with a short amount of time to live and “take them on the last adventure of their life,” said Probst. That adventure will include reunions with lost friends or formerly feuding family members, a “legacy moment” that will ensure their name carries on forever, and living out a personal dream.
“It could be playing guitar with Eric Clapton or jumping out of a plane into a volcano. Whatever it is that you’re still desiring to do in your life — we want to make it happen,” explained Probst.
I think it’s a great idea! Life is about living it to the fullest, no matter how much time we have left on this Earth. I applaud these people for going on the show, staying positive and making the most of their life!

Misty May-Treanor Leaves DWTS Due To Injury
October 7th, 2008
Professional athlete Misty May-Treanor has managed to go uninjured on the beach volleyball court, but the dance floor is a different story.
May-Treanor confirmed on last night’s Dancing With The Stars that she ruptured her Achilles tendon and will be unable to continue in the competition.
“I’m out,” she said on the show. During rehearsal on Friday she said she “heard a pop doing the lindy hop… I didn’t have an ankle, a foot.”
Misty is in peak shape, coming off a gold win in the Beijing Olympics. “I never thought in a million years I’d hurt myself in ballroom,” she explained. “It felt like I got hit in the back with a baseball bat.”
There are rumors that ousted contestant Kim Kardashian will be returning to fill Misty’s spot on the show.
Do you wanna see Kim back on the show?

America’s Next Top Model Doesn’t Discriminate!
August 13th, 2008
America’s Next Top Model is bringing a whole new element to their new season this fall. One of the 14 girls in the competition is transgender. I know what you’re thinking and no, it’s not Tyra Banks.
It’s 22 year-old former receptionist, Isis, who is from Prince George’s County, Maryland. “My cards were dealt differently,” she told Us Weekly.
GLAAD president Neil Giuliano is pleased with Isis’ inclusion on the show this season and said it’s “an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television.” Giuliano went on to say, “We applaud Tyra Banks and The CW for making this historic visibility of transgender people possible.”
So what’s this girl look like? Click HERE to see a pic!

Oprah Can Only Give So Much
May 14th, 2008
Oprah’s Big Give was a hit this year and warmed hearts all over America, but the daytime talk show queen has no intention of doing it again.
According to the New York Post, ABC wanted to sign the show on for another season but Oprah put the nix on it.
“We loved that show and absolutely would have loved to bring it back,” ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson told The Post. “But it was something [Oprah] didn’t want to do.”
