Brittany Murphy’s early death has become somewhat of a circus with all of the rumors and questions of who gets her assets, but TMZ.com now reports that Murphy didn’t leave a penny to husband Simon Monjack.
Since Murphy’s passing on Dec. 20 at just 32-years-old, rumors have spread that Monjack and her mother Sharon have been trying to figure out who gets her remaining estate. As of recently, the family has learned that Murphy left her entire fortune to her mom.
Murphy supposedly hand wrote her will, leaving her mom everything before she and Monjack tied the knot, and kept it in the safe hands of her manager.
This came as no shock to Monjack, before the two were married Murphy drafted a formal will and trust at his request stating, “I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will,” he says.
Monjack is fed up with the rumors and lies!
“Stop coming out with these ridiculous stories,” he tells Usmagazine.com.
“Our marriage was dogged by these ridiculous rumors. Brittany’s life was dogged by ridiculous rumors, and the truth always wins out,” Monjack tells Us.
“I hope people have the sense to really understand that everything was beautiful and wonderful in our relationship and so pure.”
With all the reports out there we have no idea what to believe!
Just released, it appears the late Brittany Murphy’s last film will be released this summer.
The actress who died in December from cardiac arrest, last filmed psychological horror thriller, Abandoned, last June, reports Usmagazine.com.
Film distribution company, Anchor Bay Entertainment, purchased the rights to the film which also stars Dean Cain and Mimi Rogers.
“Brittany will be deeply missed by everyone who worked on Abandoned. The film is a taut thriller which portrays Brittany’s character as smart and tough — and that’s how we all want to remember her,” producers Jeffrey Schenck and Barry Barnholtz said in a joint statement to Reuters Friday.
Anchor Bay Entertainment president Bill Clark said it was an “honor and bittersweet” to release the movie.
And finally after weekss of questioning, a coroner ruled Brittany’s death accidental as a result of pneumonia, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.

Brittany Murphy’s autopsy reveals that she died of pneumonia “exacerbated” by multiple drug intoxication, LA County Coroner’s Office tells Usmagazine.com.
But it wasn’t just the multiple drugs that killed her, iron deficiency and anemia also played a in a role in her death.
“She wasn’t the healthiest person in the world,” Chief Investigator Craig Harvey tells Us.
Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack has denied any chance of an eating disorder and prescription drug problem, and revealed the only thing she took was an antidepressant to help with menstrual cramps.
Harvey explains that the drugs present in Murphy’s system, “Will be contained in the toxicology report when it is released in a couple weeks,” and that all the drugs were “oral medications.”
Though we won’t know what drugs were present for a few weeks, we believe her death was preventable and egged on by a failing acting career! RIP Brittany!
It’s been over a month since the late actress, Brittany Murphy was found dead in her Calif. home, and the world is still unsure of what caused her to lose her life.
However, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the mystery is about to be solved.
A source close to the investigation has disclosed that the toxicology results are expected back “sometime next week.”
Although there is a lot of speculation over Brittany’s death, many suspect that it was either drug abuse or an eating disorder. Brittany’s mother and husband, Simon Monjack both claim the loss, however, was caused by natural causes.

- Monjack has a reputation of being a con man. His nickname to some is “Conjack”. Monjack’s most significant film credit to date is contributing story material to Factory Girl; however, the film’s director, George Hickenlooper, accused Monjack of shady business dealings. He says Monjack improperly sued to get a credit on the film and then used that as leverage to scam his way into other productions.
- There was a huge income disparity between Murphy and Monjack. While Murphy was raking in $4 million for scoring roles in big hits such as Little Black Book, he has encountered numerous financial problems. He was once sued by a mortgage company for $470,000 and evicted from his residence.
- Monjack initially didn’t want an autopsy performed, because he claimed he “couldn’t bear” the idea of a medical examiner cutting her up.
- He was “incoherent”, and hospitalized a month before Brittany’s death In November. Monjack was rushed to an L.A. hospital after becoming incoherent during a flight from Puerto Rico. (In Puerto Rico he was accused of causing problems on the set of on of Murphy films.) Murphy said he was treated for asthma. Hmmm…
The Boots Girls also couldn’t help but notice that every time we’ve come across a photo of Monjack he is ALWAYS sweating balls! Asthma our ass! Um, prescription drugs much?!
Investigators found a jaw-dropping amount of prescription meds in Brittany Murphy’s bedroom night stand drawer after her Dec. 20 death.
TMZ.com obtained notes from the coroner’s office and here are all the medications found: Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.
Holy deadly prescription cocktail!
The examiner notes also state that Murphy “had been complaining of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain” for 7 to 10 days prior to her death.
At 7:30 a.m. Sunday Murphy went into her bathroom and shut the door, the notes continue.
A half hour later Murphy’s mother, Sharon, went to check on her. When she opened the bathroom door she “discovered the descedent lying on the floor unresponsive,” the notes read.
Sharon called for Murphy’s hubby, Simon Monjack, who was in bed. He attempted to revive Murphy by placing her in the shower under running water. Meanwhile, Sharon called 911 and by the time paramedics arrived Murphy was “without signs of life”.
In addition to large amounts of prescription drugs in Murphy’s name, there were also numerous empty prescription medication bottles in Simon’s name and an unidentified party’s name.
Sound familiar? Hello Michael Jackson’s demise! Investigators say they suspect “no foul”, but there’s got to be a doctor out there shaking in their boots. No one should be drugged up on that many pills!

Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack, called 911 at 8 a.m. Sunday morning from their Los Angeles home, an LA Fire Department spokesperson told TMZ.
Sources say her mother discovered her unconscious in the shower, and when paramedics arrived they administered CPR. Paramedics continued to perform CPR as they rushed her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The bubbly actress won our hearts over with her chubby cheeks in Clueless, and the hearts of men everywhere with her sex appeal in films such as Sin City and 8 Mile.
This comes as such a shock to The Boots Girls — because unlike many of her train wreck Hollywood peers — Murphy flew under the radar and appeared to live a happy and healthy life. We will miss her!

Those who took in Madonna’s concert at Dodger Stadium in L.A. last night as part of her Sticky & Sweet Tour got quite the sweet treat with celebrity sightings and performances galore!
As Ryan Seacrest predicted, both Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake performed with Madge on stage.
During Madonna’s Human Nature song, Spears walked on stage “dramatically” and sang the chorus with her, according to a Boots Girl BFF. Later, Timberlake performed with Madge during their hit song together 4 Minutes.
J.Lo and Madonna’s kids were all spotted in the audience. However, even though A-Rod is currently in Los Angeles too, there was no sign of him.
Madge made several references to her divorce with Guy Ritchie. “She said in ‘29 moves the queen takes over the king’ in reference to a chess set,” our eyewitness tells us.
At another point, Madonna made a sarcastic quip when love came up in one of her songs by saying, “Yeah I know about love”.
However, even when she was talking about “love’ she seemed happy and more playful then she usually is.
“When the subject of love came up in one of her songs she seemed happy and was a lot more playful and real than usual,” our source said.
Perhaps it’s because Madonna has found love again in her Yankee! No word yet on whether or not Spears and Timberlake actually had a run-in.
