Jennifer Love Hewitt, who has previously taken a lot of heat for her fuller-figure, says she almost dumped bf Jamie Kennedy when he called her “pear ass.”
“We had a rough patch in the beginning because the first time we went on vacation, I was going to be in a bikini, and I was very nervous,” she said Tuesday on Lopez Tonight.
“I heard him coming down the hall, so I got in the cute bikini position.
“And he goes, ‘Hey, my little pear ass.’ “I said, ‘I’m sorry, what did you say?’”
Jennifer continued by discussing, in detail, how the remark was NOT a compliment. “Have you ever seen a pear?” she asked. “It starts thin, it gets fat and it never gets thin again. It’s not cute. It’s not a cute fruit.”
She said, since the fight they “worked it out” and now “we’ve embraced the pear.”
Jamie “didn’t mean” the comment in a mean way, Jen added. “He thought it was a compliment, I think.”
FYI Jamie, don’t ever call a girl’s ass fat… DUH! That’s like relationship suicide!
No Wedding Bells For Jennifer Love Hewitt And Jamie Kennedy Just Yet!

Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy aren’t gearing up to say, “I do” just yet.
The New York Post reported earlier this week that Kennedy proposed to Hewitt on stage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, Cali., Saturday night after the crowd yelled, “Marry her!”
Awww! That would’ve been super cute but unfortunately the rumors aren’t true!
“There is no truth to the report,” Hewitt’s rep told Usmagazine.com.
So maybe no engagement just yet, but marriage has apparently come up in conversation!
Last month, Hewitt revealed to a Los Angeles radio station that she’s given Kennedy a proposal timeline.
“By this time next year, if we’re not planning something, then there’s a situation.”
Sounds to us like J.Love is itching to tie the knot! She’s probably still bitter from her breakup with actor Ross McCall who called of their engagement late last year.
“Breakups are awful. They’re really painful,” she told Ellen DeGeneres in April. “They really hurt. They really suck on lots of levels, but what I think is great about life is that the universe always brings you something really beautiful and great afterward — and that’s kind of where I am now.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt Finds Bliss with Jamie Kennedy!

It looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt may not just be one of Jamie Kennedy’s experiments!
The couple they have been going strong now for at least a month and looked happier than ever last night at, ironically, the Finding Bliss premiere.
The lovebirds beamed on the red-carpet and J-Love glowed as she showed off a slim and toned body!
The flick, starring Kennedy, is about an aspiring filmmaker who takes a job at a porn studio, planning to use the company’s lush facilities to secretly film her own movie after hours, according .
I never would’ve put these two C-listers together, but hey maybe it’ll work out for them!

“Yes, we are dating,” Kennedy said Friday on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “Wow, I’ve never said that.”
“We have an intense connection,” he said. Making a Twilight reference, he added, “She’s my Bella. I don’t want to bite her neck, but I want her to live.”
Even though they’ve been friends for years, we talked to Jamie Kennedy back in October and there didn’t seem to be anything going on between them then.
So it makes sense why he would say that the relationship came out of “nowhere”. Originally, he said he had been “too busy” for love.
But “here’s somebody that breathes life into you in a new way and makes you fuller and that’s what she does to me!” he said. “I’m in love, and I don’t care!” he added. “Ryan, you knew off-the-air, because you said I seemed different to you … it’s amazing.”
Wow, he sure is confident and outspoken about this. Relationships seem to last when they start as friendships — so maybe these two will actually stay together!
Jennifer Love Hewitt and fiance Ross McCall have called it quits.
“They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement,” a source close to the couple tells People.com excusively.
“They’re both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them.” the source continues.
Hewitt and McCall got engaged in November 2007 and she was quoted saying this about it: “First time I’ve ever been in a relationship where you don’t have to try.”
Well, judging from the outcome maybe Jennifer should have tried a little bit harder.
Jennifer Love Hewitt defended Cheryl Burke yesterday who recently received scrutiny for her body size and said the criticism of the Dancing With the Stars competitor’s body is “really insensitive.”
“Cheryl Burke is so beautiful and an amazing dancer and that’s what people should concentrate on,” Hewitt, who fought back against criticism of her own bikini body, said yesterday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Burke was recently criticized by DWTS pros Louis Van Amstel and Maksim Chmerkovskiy for gaining a few pounds over the summer.
“I think [people] feel like people don’t have any feelings,” Hewitt said.
Hewitt has dropped weight since her bikini pictures surfaced last year and she says it’s because she’s been training for a marathon.
“My body just changed,” she said. “When you’re running that much and working out like that, that’s what happens. I was happy with myself in those photos, and I’m still happy.”
Well, whatever she’s doing it’s working. She looked fantastic on the show yesterday!

Jennifer Love Hewitt is getting a lot of slack for some unflattering paparazzi photos showing her in a bikini while on a recent vacation in Hawaii with her fiancé.
Hewitt addressed the photos on her blog. Here’s what she said:
This is the last time I will address this subject.
I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.
A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.
What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body.
To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini — put it on and stay strong.
