On breaking up with Nick Zano:

“Nick and I were seeing each other for 10 months, then I broke up with him. I don’t think he’s ever had a girl break up with him before! And then I saw that he was with Kristin [Cavallari]. He’s the type of guy who always has to be with a girl- I don’t like that. So I realized that he’s not even my type! I feel like as you grow up, you realize what your type is.”

On her new boy:

“I have a boyfriend. He’s a web designer, and he’s cute. And I’m glad he’s not famous. Famous guys always come with a lot of baggage.”

On working out her family issues:

“Someone we knew recommended a therapist, and I’ve been seeing her off and on whenever I fight with my parents. It’s been better, but we’re not perfect. My mom hates my blond hair – she wants it to be brown. And when I go to meetings, my dad says, ‘Please don’t wear too much makeup!’ But I see that they’re doing the best to keep me grounded and to mold me into a good person who respects other people.”

HollyWHAT? Sydney was the cool place to be over the weekend. Some of Hollywood’s hottest made the 24-hour trip down yonder for the MTV’s Australia Video Awards.

Kristin Cavallari and Nick Zano and FINALLY…

Kristin Cavallari hosted the grand opening party for Aura nightclub at Atlantis in Paradise Island in the Bahamas over the weekend. Since the drinking age is 18 in the Bahamas, the 20 year-old Laguna Beach star took full advantage of that. Cavallari drank glass after glass of Dom Perignon all night, according to an eyewitness at the party.

Needless to say, Cavallari didn’t make it to the beach the next day. “She spent the next day throwing up all day in her room,” the pal of Cavallari said. Well, at least she had her boyfriend and, as we hear, soon-to-be fiance Nick Zano to take care of her.

And let’s hope Cavallari doesn’t go down the Britney-Lindsay path to rehab!

I can exclusively report that Nick Zano and Kristin Cavallari will be enagaged very soon.

“They are for sure going to get engaged very soon,” according to a source close to the couple. “It will probably be within the month and definitely before summer is over.”

A few weeks ago Cavallari made a surprise trip to visit Zano in New Orleans where he is filming College. While in the Big Easy those two crazy kids got tattoos of each other’s initials on their wrists. Hmmm…I can think of another young Hollywood couple who received matching wrist tattoos before walking down the aisle. Uhhhhh…I hope these two have better luck!
