Calling all Chicagoans — check this out! Nike is conducting the Nike+ Human Race on Aug. 31 which is a 10K race that you can sign up for HERE .

It’s the largest 10K race in history, taking place in 25 cities all on the same day. And if you participate, you can enjoy a free Fall Out Boy concert at Soldier Field after the race! FREE!

This race is for charity so it’s for a good cause — and it’s also a good excuse to get out there and enjoy these last days of summer!

As Chicago gears up for Lollapalooza this weekend, festival founder Perry Farrell has been in town prepping all week.

The Jane’s Addiction frontman has already dined twice at David Burke’s Primehouse, once with his wife and last night with a number of music promoters who are in town for Lollapalooza.

Even though today is the official opening day of The Dark Knight, many theaters in Chicago had midnight screenings of the flick.

Ruben Chavez, Nathan Robbel and Odin Cabal got into the spirit of things as they struck a pose during the midnight screening at the Navy Pier Imax Theater. Robbel does a pretty good joker!
