The Boots Girls caught up with Katy Perry on Thursday evening on her tour bus before she performed her hit song I Kissed A Girl at the MOTOROKR Lounge at Underground. Perry said that her inspiration for the song indeed was from kissing a girl. “Yeah, I kissed a girl,” Perry said. “Of course! I was inspired by that curiosity I had with girls.” Perry also said that her best friend from when she was growing up inspired her as well. “I remember growing up and my best friend was the most beautiful person ever. I think I had a big crush on her.” Perry also performed at Manor on Saturday night to a packed house and hung out with Travis McCoy.
