Liz Crokin

pc210257.JPG Liz Crokin founded Thesebootsaremadeforstalking.com. She also writes a weekly column in the RedEye Edition of the Chicago Tribune and freelances for national magazines. She attended the University of Iowa and received a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science. In-between classes and the bars, Liz found herself chilling backstage at rock concerts with the likes of Bob Dylan and Dave Matthews by night and campaigning with former Congressman John Kasich and then Governor George W. Bush by day. She also interned for Bill O'Reilly at Fox News Channel and CBS during the course of her college career. After graduation Liz moved to Washington, D.C., where she reported in the White House for the State Department's news service and wrote for an entertainment magazine. The nation's Capital was fun, but Liz did not fit in at all. She moved back to her beloved hometown Chicago where she plans to stay.
