Our favorite shopaholic, Isla Fisher finally tied the knot to long-time fiance, Sacha Baron Cohen.
The cute couple said their vows to a small crowd in a private traditional Jewish ceremony last Monday, reports Woman’s Day in Australia.
“We did it – we’re married!” Isla wrote in an email to friends the next day. “It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much.
“I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”
On Sunday, Sacha was spoted sporting some new bling on his ring finger.
Back in 2005, Isla had told a British newspaper, “Sacha makes me laugh more than anyone.”
She added that their relationship works, regardless of its unconventional nature.
“Instead of ‘Hey, honey, did you pick up the dry cleaning?,’ it was ‘Did you get beaten up? Are you getting sued? Is there a warrant out for your arrest?’” she said of Sacha who, at the time, headlined the controversial comedy, Borat.

The terrorist group al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades is threatening Sacha Baron Cohen in a statement after he mocked them in his new film Bruno.
“We reserve the right to respond in the way we find suitable against this man,” the group said in a statement to WorldNet reporter Aaron Klein. “The movie was part of a conspiracy against the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades.”
The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades is a coalition of secular Palestinian nationalist militias in the West Bank.
Baron Cohen isn’t taken the threat lightly and has stepped up security for himself and his family since the group issued their threatening statement.
In the film, Bruno, meets with Ayman Abu Aita, the leader of the Martyrs’ Brigades, in an attempt to get himself kidnapped.
“This was a dirty use of our brother, Ayman, and we don’t accept that the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades is part of the film,” the group said.
Ayman Abu Aita is also preparing legal action against the Baron Cohen and Universal Studios.
Bruno was effen’ hilarious, but we couldn’t help but wonder what the repercussions would be for mocking a crazy terrorist organization!!!

Sacha Baron Cohen’s flamboyant gay alter ego, Bruno, has followed in the actress’ footsteps by posing nude on the July cover of GQ.
The photo is clearly mocking Jen’s nude December cover where she too stripped down and Bruno didn’t do too shabby of a job emulating the He’s Just Not That Into You star.

A writer for MTV has confirmed that Eminem was in on the stunt Sacha Baron Cohen pulled at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards.
Cohen, dressed up as his flaming gay character Bruno, landed half-naked on top of Slim Shady as he flew across the audience in a grand attempt to present an award.
A pissed off Em yelled “get this motherf*cker off me” before storming out of the awards show and viewers wondered whether or not the rapper was in on the joke.
“Yes, the Eminem-Bruno incident was staged,” head writer Scott Aukerman wrote on his . “They rehearsed it at dress [rehearsal] and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show.”
So there you have it. Apparently, Eminem can take a joke!
Anyone who tuned into the MTV Movie Awards last night witnessed Sacha Baron Cohen piss off Eminem.
Cohen, in character as the flaming gay Bruno, presented Best Male Performance at the show and made quite the entrance.
Cohen flew into the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., in a costume sporting huge white wings strapped to overhead cables and shorts exposing his butt cheeks. He was lowered right over Eminem and his crotch landed in the rapper’s face with his legs and bare ass wrapped around his neck.
“Are you serious?” Em shouted. “Get the f*ck off me!”
“Nice to meet you,” Cohen replied.
Eminem’s bodyguards ripped Cohen off of him.
“Hey, don’t touch me! I’ve already got a boyfriend!” Bruno yelled.
Eminem and his bodyguards stormed out of the awards show after the incident. No one knows for sure yet if he was in on the joke - most speculate that he wasn’t judging by his raw reaction.
Really Eminem?? ? Here Eminem talks smack about other celebrities more than anyone in the business and now he’s going to be pissed about Bruno??? I mean, COME ON!!! He shouldn’t dish it if he can’t take it! Storming out of the theater pouting like a toddler made him look like such a pussy! We’re guessing he’s dealt with worse situations and people on 8 Mile Road before than the mastermind behind Bruno and Borat!
The 66th annual Golden Globes were surprisingly a little more entertaining than usual with bad jokes, drug references, celebrity disses and salty speeches!
- Colin Farrell sniffed on stage at the show and said it was cold and he wasn’t sniffling ‘‘for the reasons I used to.’’ Ha!
- Seth Rogen joked about doing cocaine with Mickey Rourke, and Sacha Baron Cohen noted that even Madonna has felt the impact of these hard economic times and it lead her to dumping many assistants — “Guy Ritchie.” Double ouch!
- During Tina Fey’s acceptance speech she told on-line haters to “suck it!”“If you ever start to feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called the Internet,” Fey said. “You can find a lot of people there who don’t like you.” Then she went on to tell them that they can suck it! You tell ‘em Tina!
- The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan accepted a posthumous best supporting actor Golden Globe for Heath Ledger’s role as The Joker which comes almost a full year after his tragic death. Definitely the most touching moment of the evening.
- When 30 Rock won for best TV comedy series, Tracy Morgan joked ‘‘Tina Fey told me if Barack Obama won I’d speak for the show from now on — so look at the new face of TV!.”
- Kate Winslet was clearly the belle of the ball last night nabbing two Golden Globes - one for best supporting actress for The Reader and the second for best actress in Revolutionary Road.
- A giddy Drew Barrymore sported a bob straight from Revolutionary Road. Not sure what happy pills she was taking, but we’re guessing it was the endless supply of champagne!
- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dissed E!’sRyan Seacrest by cruising right by him as he tried to interview them for the pre-show!
- Finally, did anyone find it ironic that when Jake Gyllenhaal talked about The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, starring Brad Pitt, he insisted that it is a film that celebrates that youth is not wasted on the young? We thought it was a strange choice of words to use for Pitt’s film considering that his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, has said in several recent interviews that ” the youth is wasted on the young”!
Celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberake, Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise and Sacha Baron Cohen (as Borat!) appeared in a new public service announcement to get people to vote yesterday.
In the clip, director Steven Spielberg parodies previous PSAs and tells them to tell fans not to vote.

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen’s daughter Olive turned one this weekend and the celebs came out in droves to help the tot celebrate.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi and Dustin Hoffman were among the revelers at the country western themed Beverly Hills bash.
Toby Maquire and wife Jen Meyer also attended with daughter Ruby who donned a cowboy hat for the festive occasion and even brought a matching one for the birthday girl.
Too bad little Olive won’t even remember her star studded backyard birthday bash! LOL! I hope they took lots of pics.
