X Files alum, David Duchovny entered a rehabilitation center for sex addiction, his lawyer, Stanton “Larry” Stein, told People.com exclusively.

Duchovny reported to People.com, “I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

If this is a publicity stunt for the release of his new X Files movie he could’ve at least chosen a less embarrassing addiction!
