Rihanna Flying Solo At The Grammys!
Rihanna won’t be walking the red carpet Sunday with any arm candy!
Though she’s been pictured with him numerous times over the past month, RiRi has no plans to bring baseball player Matt Kemp to this year’s Grammy Awards.
“I’m going to the Grammys alone, as always!” she said Thursday on 104.3 MY FM’s Valentine in the Morning show in Los Angeles. “Even when I was in a relationship, I always have gone alone.”
Before allowing for the next question, Rihanna blurted out, “I’m still single, if that’s what you really want to ask!”
Ohhh, so Matt Kemp is just a little friends-with-benefits dealio? Gotta love a girl who knows how to play the field just as well, if not better, than a guy!
“It was a blast!” Rihanna said of her trip with Kemp to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Rihanna — who is nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West for Run This Town Tonight — is “excited” about Sunday’s show.
“This was actually the first piece of music we did since the last Grammys,” she said. “It’s exciting that it’s nominated.”
“We cannot wait. We hope we bring home the bacon, but if not, it’s great that it was nominated,” she added.
Girl must be damn excited for this year’s show considering she spent last year in a car getting the shit beat out of her!
