Ed Swiderski may have left his hot shorts at home, but that doesn’t mean the mood wasn’t steamy during his Thursday night Windy City date with Bachelorette star Jillian Harris.

The couple went to dinner at SushiSamba Rio with Bachelor contestant Natalie Getz and Bachelorette season 5 contestant Mike Steinberg. It was a Bachelor love-fest!

We’re guessing that Houston, Ed’s performance problems just may be a thing of the past. At least we hope for Jillian’s sake! Eyewitnesses tell The Boots Girls that the newly engaged couple seemed very much in love and affectionate with each other.

“They looked very much in love, very affectionate and really seemed to be enjoying themselves,” a source told us. “She was wearing her ring and confirmed she is moving to Chicago in September 2009.”

The group enjoyed the SushiSamba cocktail tree and dined on white asparagus gazpacho, and aji tuna a la plancha.

The honeymoon is clearly still on - we say they don’t make it till the end of the year. But hey, you never know!
