Elizabeth Edwards Dishes About John’s Affair!
Elizabeth Edwards reveals in her new memoir that upon hearing news of husband John’s affair she threw up.
“I cried and screamed, I went to the bathroom and threw up,” she wrote in Resilience (due out May 12), according to the New York’s Daily News.
Elizabeth, who is also tragically battling terminal breast cancer, says that John told her about his affair with Rielle Hunter just days after declaring his run for president in 2006 and “left most of the truth out”.
It wasn’t until almost a year later that the story was broken in the National Enquirer.
She urged John to drop out of the race to protect herself and their three children and he ignored her.
Elizabeth suggests in the book that she forgives John for the affair and that they are now on better terms.
“I lie in bed, circles under my eyes, my sparse hair sticking in too many directions, and he looks at me as if I am the most beautiful woman he has ever seen,” she writes. “It matters.”
Yeah so beautiful that he was driven to have sex with another woman over the course of a long-term affair. Why she forgave that self-indulgent pig is beyond us!

Yea, this whole thing seems pretty contradictory. If my husband cheated on me, I would never feel like he truly loved me or cared about me like he had before the affair. Why would she take him back? He lied to her, had a long term affair, and obviously didn’t listen to anything she had to say. I don’t get it…

Sometimes in order for a person to heal they forgive..not for the other persons interest of heart, but for ones own peace of mind. This lady has suffered enough.Shes batteling a fatal illness ..shes been betrayed,humiliated..she is entitled to her feelings.
