After a year of drama and heartache the Spears clan finally has something positive to celebrate: A wedding!

Britney Spears’ big brother, Bryan Spears, is newly engaged and set to wed possibly over the New Year’s holiday, according to People.com.

Bryan’s fiancee, Graciella Sanchez, met the eldest Spears while managing the youngest sibling, Jamie Lynn, during her Zoey 101 days.

Brit flew to Louisiana on Sunday with her boys Jayden and Sean Preston and plans to attend the nuptials.

Let’s hope this festive occasion kicks off a better year in 2009 for the Spears family!
